Divine Will Retreat by Rev. Joseph Iannuzzi, S.T.L., S.T.D. on Feb 18-19-20, 2013

Divine Will Retreat

The Miracle of the Rosary Mission is sponsoring a retreat focusing on "Living in the Divine Will" based on the writings of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. It will be held February 18-20,  2013 with Rev. Joseph Leo Iannuzzi, S.T.L.,  S.T.D., as the retreat director.

Luisa Piccarreta was born in Corato, province of Bari, Italy on April 23, 1865. She was called to serve our Lord as a victim soul at the tender age of 16. Carrying invisibly the wounds of our Lord in her own crucified body made her a rare victim of intercession for mankind for more than 60 years. Her nourishment for the most part of her life consisted of God’s Most Holy Will and the Eucharist. Her Cause of Beatification and Canonization is underway.

Fr. Joseph is a theologian and doctoral alumnus of the Gregorian Pontifical University of Rome. He has written several books on revelation and prophecy, appeared on EWTN and was host of several television and national radio programs.  Fr. Joseph is the initiator of the Missionaries of the Holy Trinity Community devoted to the advancement of the Church's mystical tradition and to the proper theological presentation of the mystical gift of Living in Gods Divine Will. He is currently is working for the Pontifical University of Rome on a doctoral research and thesis on all of Luisa's writings that enjoys the endorsements of the Vicar and the Archbishop of Trani, Italy for the advancement of the Cause of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta.

After over a decade of theological studies at the Pontifical University of Rome, Rev. Joseph Leo Iannuzzi, S.T.L.,  S.T.D., has completed his doctoral dissertation on the writings of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. This past November 2012, Father’s dissertation was unanimously approved by the Vatican University with high honors, and it constitutes the highest achievement in academic excellence. Bearing he Church’s seals of approval, this work is the very first of its kind in the Church, as it establishes a link between Luisa’s collected writings and Church Tradition, and it reveals the importance of the new mystical gift of “Living in the Divine Will”.

By virtue of the ecclesiastical approbation this work enjoys and on account of its importance, we wish to make this work available to you, and to the clergy, so that priests, seminarians and laity may come to know “within the context of the Church’s Tradition” and from an approved theologian, the immense riches Luisa’s writings contain. Not only does this work systematically dispel all erroneous teachings that have been associated with Luisa’s writings, it uses the traditional theological language to demonstrate this.

It is an honor and a privilege to have such a gifted priest lead and guide us in living the Divine Will.
