37th Anniversary of Our Lady's Apparitions in Medjugorje
Dear Family of Mary!

June 25, 2007 "Dear children! Also today, with great joy in my heart, I call you to conversion. Little children, do not forget that you are all important in this great plan, which God leads through Medjugorje. God desires to convert the entire world and to call it to salvation and to the way towards Himself, who is the beginning and the end of every being. In a special way, little children, from the depth of my heart, I call you all to open yourselves to this great grace that God gives you through my presence here. I desire to thank each of you for the sacrifices and prayers. I am with you and I bless you all. Thank you for having responded to my call."

We find ourselves now at the 37th anniversary of Our Lady's coming to Medjugorje. It is hard to take in the reality of all Our Lady has done and is doing, here in this place, this little village in Bosnia-Hercegovina. Who would have guessed back in 1981 that Our Lady would appear for so long a time, and bring with her such abundant graces for her children! She has touched millions of souls, indeed millions, and all of them, one by one. She encounters each person who comes here with her undivided attention and deep motherly love. Her plan is to change the world, one person at a time!   

March 25, 2003 "Dear children! Also today I call you to pray for peace. Pray with the heart, little children, and do not lose hope because God loves His creatures. He desires to save you, one by one, through my coming here. I call you to the way of holiness. Pray, and in prayer you are open to God's will; in this way, in everything you do, you realize God's plan in you and through you. Thank you for having responded to my call."

God's plan! We are being invited to discover God's plan for us. This plan is the Way to Life! His plan for each of us also is woven into a vast plan for the salvation of the world! Our Lady told us in her first monthly message about our role in God's plan:
January 25, 1987 The first apparition of the 25th of the month, given to Marija, for the parish: 

 "Today I want to appeal to all of you to start living a new life from this day on. Dear children, I wish that you would understand that God has chosen each one of you to have a part in the great plan for the salvation of mankind. You cannot fully understand how great your role is in God's design. For that reason, pray, dear children, so that through prayer, you may be able to know your role in God's plan. I am with you, so that you may be able to realize it fully."

So you see, Our Lady has come first of all for each one of us, to save us and heal us, but simultaneously she has come to change the world, by leading each of us into a great plan of salvation for the world. She can do this because she is completely submitted to the will of God. This is a wondrous miracle of love being enacted in our day!!
Now we say, "Happy Anniversary, Dearest Mother! Thank you for coming to Medjugorje! Thank you for bringing to us the plan of God for each of us individually, and for all of us together. We say 'Yes' to you and to all you ask of us! Amen!!!"

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, overflowing
with goodness, Show us your love for us.
May the flame of your heart, Oh Mary,
Descend upon all peoples.
We love you immensely.
Impress in our hearts a true love.
May our hearts yearn for you.
Oh Mary, sweet and humble of heart,
Remember us when we sin.
You know that all mankind are sinners.
Through your most sacred and maternal heart,
Cure us from every spiritual illness.
Make us capable of looking at the beauty of your maternal heart,
And that, thus, we may be converted
to the flame of your heart. Amen
