33 Day Consecration - Day 29

Dear Family of Mary!

33 Day Prayer of Consecration to Our Lady of the Rosary - Day 29

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit!
Receive our Consecration Prayer, O dearest Mother Mary!

Let's continue to use Our Lady's message of September 25, 2019 as our instruction on the power and purpose of the Rosary.
"...Little children, pray the Rosary and meditate the mysteries of the Rosary because, in your life, you are also passing through joys and sorrows. In this way, you are transforming the mysteries into your life, because life is a mystery until you place it into God's hands..." (September 25, 2019)
Meditate the mysteries of the Rosary!
Here is another example of Fr. Shamon's amazing method of meditating on the mysteries:

Another time I was thinking about the first Sorrowful Mystery, the Agony in the Garden. I was picturing Jesus leaving the Last Supper room with His eleven and going down the steps that lead to the Kidron Valley and to Gethsemane. Around that time I was also thinking of how I had an appointment to go to the IRS for an audit of some tax returns. Well, whichever way you cut it, that gives one a scary, uncomfortable feeling. Then the thought spontaneously surfaced of how Jesus must have felt in going to Gethsemane: He was going to face death, a horrible death, marked by excruciating pain and ignominy. With the IRS interview hanging over my head, I could empathize in some small way with the inner feelings He must have experienced.
Then another thought arose of its own accord; see what Jesus was doing. He was going to the Garden to pray. That was how He was going to meet the situation-with prayer! Then I thought to myself that is how I ought to confront every trial in my own life - by prayer. This mystery in Our Lord's life confirmed my resolve to pray always when face to face with a problem.
(Fr. Albert Shamon. "The Power of the Rosary". P. 15)
Talk about "transforming the mysteries into your life!" This meditation was just what Fr. Shamon needed! I guess we get the point. We need to really experience the mysteries with our entire selves, and let the Holy Spirit direct our thoughts as we pray the decade. We will see so much light and help coming from the Rosary for our everyday lives.

As Our Lady continues in her message: "
In this way, you will have the experience of faith like Peter who met Jesus and the Holy Spirit filled his heart."

Fr. Shamon did receive the Holy Spirit as he met Jesus in that mystery. And it was transformative!

More tomorrow!

Supplication to the Queen of the Holy Rosary:

"O Blessed Rosary of Mary, sweet chain which unites us to God, bond of love which unites us to the angels, tower of salvation against the assaults of Hell, safe port in our universal shipwreck, we will never abandon you. You will be our comfort in the hour of death: yours our final kiss as life ebbs away. And the last word from our lips will be your sweet name, O Queen of the Rosary of Pompei, O dearest Mother, O Refuge of Sinners, O Sovereign Consoler of the Afflicted. May you be everywhere blessed, today and always, on earth and in heaven". (Blessed Bartolo Longo)

We commit ourselves to praying the Rosary for your intentions, dearest Mary, our Mother, as You enter this final battle with Satan, for the sake of souls. We will take up the Rosary as an obligation that we will fulfill with great joy! Together we will pray for Your Triumph over Satan, and for the coming of a New Time of Peace which has been given to us through You, Oh Clement, O Loving, O Sweet Virgin Mary!! Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit! As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Now we pray our Rosary for today! Glorious Mysteries!!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
