33 Day Consecration - Day 33

Dear Family of Mary!

33 Day Prayer of Consecration to Our Lady of the Rosary - Day 33

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit!
Receive our Consecration Prayer, O dearest Mother Mary!
Bartolo Longo was saved by Our Lady and her Rosary from a life of Satanism and the certainty of hell. He was convinced that Our Lady saved him and gave the rest of his life to spreading devotion to Mary and the Rosary. Here is one of his prayers, a cry of joy and gratitude to Our Lady for her Rosary:

"O what a balsam I feel pouring out in my heart, tormented by thousands of doubts about eternal salvation, when I think that Mary has come from heaven to my help! By her own hands, She has thrown me this rope of salvation for me to seize upon in order to escape from Satan's hands, and from the seductions of the world and of flesh...The Mother of sinners has seen your fragility and has come to the rescue of her perishing sons, and has lent them a celestial chain, to which he who strongly holds tight, is taken out from the mud soiling the world and saved. This golden heavenly saving chain is the Rosary. May the blessed Rosary beads be always on us, travel with us, give a sweet respite to our fatigues, precede and follow all our affairs, be at the top of any other love...I hold in my hands the token of my salvation: I have Mary's Rosary in my hands, O Jesus, my Redeemer; and with this token of salvation I do not mistrust your pardon."
"Kindly deign to hear us, O Mary! Jesus has placed in your hands all the treasures of His grace and His mercies. You are seated a crowned Queen, at the right Hand of your Son, resplendent with immortal glory above all the Choirs of Angels. You extend your dominion throughout the heavens and the earth and all creatures are subject to you. You are omnipotent by grace and therefore You can help us. Were you not willing to help us, since we are ungrateful children and undeserving of your protection, we would not know to whom to turn. Your Mother's heart would not permit to see us your children, lost. The Infant whom we see on your knees and the mystical Rosary, upon which we gaze at your hand, inspire confidence in us that we shall be heard. And we confide fully in you, we abandon ourselves as helpless children into the arms of the most tender of mothers, and on this day, we expect from you graces we so long for..."  (Pasquale Mocerino. "The Blessed Bartolo Longo." P.59-60)
And so we pray:

"O Blessed Rosary of Mary, sweet chain which unites us to God, bond of love which unites us to the angels, tower of salvation against the assaults of Hell, safe port in our universal shipwreck, we will never abandon you. You will be our comfort in the hour of death: yours our final kiss as life ebbs away. And the last word from our lips will be your sweet name, O Queen of the Rosary of Pompei, O dearest Mother, O Refuge of Sinners, O Sovereign Consoler of the Afflicted. May you be everywhere blessed, today and always, on earth and in heaven". (Blessed Bartolo Longo)

We commit ourselves to praying the Rosary for your intentions, dearest Mary, our Mother, as You enter this final battle with Satan, for the sake of souls. We will take up the Rosary as an obligation that we will fulfill with great joy! Together we will pray for Your Triumph over Satan, and for the coming of a New Time of Peace which has been given to us through You, Oh Clement, O Loving, O Sweet Virgin Mary!! Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit! As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Now we pray our Rosary for today! Glorious Mysteries!!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
