Dear Family of Mary!
In her messages, Our Lady speaks very convincingly about Heaven. Why? Because she is in Heaven, she is of Heaven, and it is from Heaven that she comes to visit us on earth.
Heaven is real! We believe in Heaven. But Our Lady doesn't need to make acts of faith about Heaven anymore because she lives there. This Feast of the Assumption is our proclamation that she is there. We believe she is in Heaven!!
In Medjugorje Our Lady comes to introduce us, her children, to the Heaven she knows so well. She knows that we will never understand what Heaven is like through words. There are no words to describe it to us. Our imaginations are limited by this little planet we inhabit. We simply can't grasp what she knows so well.
And even more perplexing, she knows the way to get to Heaven. She knows what we must do to finally enter into the reality she lives. She wants to help us, but she can only show us step by step. So she has been giving us messages that are designed to teach us the way. Here is one:
November 27, 1986 "Dear children! Again today I call you to consecrate your life to me with love, so I am able to guide you with love. I love you, dear children, with a special love and I desire to bring you all to Heaven unto God.
I want you to realize that this life lasts briefly compared to the one in Heaven.
Therefore, dear children, decide again today for God. Only that way will I be able to show how much you are dear to me and how much I desire all to be saved and to be with me in Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call." (11/27/86)
Our Lady loves us, and it is with her love that she will gently convince us to trust her and follow her lead. Then she will show us the way to travel, the things we need to do to enter Heaven. Mainly it seems it is by accepting the Love of God and the motherly love of Our Lady that we will find our way to Heaven! That is consecration! Such a sweet way!

The Assumption Novena
Mary, Queen Assumed into Heaven, I rejoice that after years of heroic martyrdom on earth, you have at last been taken to the throne prepared for you in heaven by the Holy Trinity.
Lift my heart with you in the glory of your Assumption above the dreadful touch of sin and impurity. Teach me how small earth becomes when viewed from heaven. Make me realize that death is the triumphant gate through which I shall pass to your Son, and that someday my body shall rejoin my soul in the unending bliss of heaven.
From this earth, over which I tread as a pilgrim, I look to you for help. I ask for this favor: (Mention your request).
When my hour of death has come, lead me safely to the presence of Jesus to enjoy the vision of my God for all eternity together with you. Amen
Pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary and be filled with joy!
