The statue on the outside altar at St. James!

Dear Family of Mary!
Hello
dear shipmates! Denis and I arrived in Medjugorje on Monday evening,
October 11. We had a safe and happy trip here, flying on three planes
and managing all our transfers with Mike Nolan's group. We are staying
together at Toni Sego's Pansion, and all is well!! Medjugorje is
booming with pilgrims, and there is much joy to be here together with
Our Lady!
Though
the weather has turned cold, we still have evening mass outside. The
prayer is fantastic. Jesus is with us in the Blessed Sacrament and Our
Lady is so present, so near, that it makes you want to weep for joy!
I have one word to share with you. It is the word, "hope"! There is hope here, great hope.
I
realized that at home I have to work pretty hard to have hope. But
here in Medjugorje, hope abounds!! It is in the air your breath. Our
Mother is close and she is not leaving us now. And in her presence
there is great hope.
Our Lady gave us an amazing message in 2001 which is so very timely now. Let her words sink deeply in to your hearts:
January 25, 2001 "Dear
children! Today I call you to renew prayer and fasting with even
greater enthusiasm until prayer becomes a joy for you. Little children,
the one who prays is not afraid of the future and the one who fasts is
not afraid of evil. Once again, I repeat to you: only through prayer and
fasting also wars can be stopped - wars of your unbelief and fear for
the future. I am with you and am teaching you little children: your
peace and hope are in God. That is why draw closer to God and put Him in
the first place in your life. Thank you for having responded to my
call."
Please,
try to live this message today. Let Our Lady fill you with her peace
and her hope. She has come to guide us into the safety of the Lord
Jesus' Heart. Follow her now. She alone has the way.
I will try to write again tomorrow. If I keep it short I can manage!! We are praying for all of you!!
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
