Mary TV: April 19, 2023 Reflection - God so loved the world...

God so loved the world...

April 19, 2023

Dear Family of Mary!

"God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God..." (John 3:16-19)

In this Scripture from St. John's Gospel, St. John is trying to explain the love of God for us. He tells us that God's love is shown in the sending of His Son, His only begotten Son, whom He loves with His infinite love that cannot be measured. God's love for us is shown in the sacrifice of His Most Beloved Son for the likes of us. It is crazy, isn't it. But that is what the Father did. He gave His all for us. If we could understand this sacrificial love even a little bit, we would probably go crazy. How could the Father love us that much??

Our Lady lived through that sacrifice, following her only beloved Son all the way to Calvary. She never pulled back, she just kept trusting and loving and suffering in compassion for her Son and her love for us. She alone understood and said yes with Jesus.

And so I believe she can help us to learn to love the Father who gave His only begotten Son for us. Here are two messages in which Mother Mary calls us to realize the love of the Father and the Son:

December 25, 2018 (Jakov)

"Dear children, on this day of grace, I am calling you to love. Little children, God loves you immeasurably and that is why, little children, full of trust and without looking back and without fear, completely surrender your hearts to Him so that God may fill them with His love. Do not be afraid to believe in His love and mercy, because His love is stronger than every one of your weaknesses and fears. Therefore, my children, full of love in your hearts, trust in Jesus and say your ‘yes’ to Him, because He is the only way which leads you to the Eternal Father."

December 25, 2015 (Jakov)

Dear children! All these years that God permits me to be with you are a sign of the immeasurable love which God has for each one of you and a sign of how much God loves you. Little children, how many graces the Most High has given to you and how many graces He desires to give to you. But, little children, your hearts are closed and live in fear, and you do not permit Jesus to have His love and His peace overcome your hearts and to begin to reign in your lives. To live without God means to live in darkness and never to come to know the Father's love and His care for each of you. Therefore, little children, today in a special way pray to Jesus that as of today your life may experience a new birth in God and become a light which will radiate from within you, and thus that you may become witnesses of God's presence in the world to every person who lives in darkness. Little children, I love you and daily intercede before the Most High for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.

May we ask Our Lady to pray for us to have the grace to comprehend God's love for us, and accept it in a deep and profound way, today and tomorrow and always...

God bless you and keep you!!
