Find a corner for personal prayer...

Dear Family of Mary!
"Dear Children! May this time be a time of prayer." (January 25, 2024)
Our Lady wants our prayer to be a true encounter with the Lord. And so in many of her messages she has given us instructions for our prayer. She has often encouraged us to have personal prayer times with the Lord! She loves the idea of personal prayer!!
Remember that Our Lady prayed personal prayer too! Read Luke 1:26-38! It is the Annunciation. Our Lady was alone in prayer with God, and the Lord sent the Angel Gabriel to announce the good news to Mary that she was chosen to be the Mother of God! That is powerful personal prayer!!
But we too are called to powerful personal prayer! It is our lifeline with God! We need to make our personal prayer a daily priority! She told us:
July 25, 1997
"Dear children!
Today I invite you to respond to my call to prayer.
I desire, dear children, that during this time
you find a corner for personal prayer.
I desire to lead you towards prayer with the heart.
Only in this way will you comprehend
that your life is empty without prayer.
You will discover the meaning of your life
when you discover God in prayer.
That is why, little children,
open the door of your heart
and you will comprehend
that prayer is joy without which
you cannot live.
Thank you for having responded to my call."
Our Lady discovered the meaning of her life during her personal prayer! She was called to be the Mother of Jesus! If she had not had a deep relationship with the Father through prayer, He could never have prepared her for such a task! We need to be prepared and nurtured for our heavenly callings as well!
"You will discover the meaning of your life when you discover God in prayer!"
