The Feast of the Presentation of the Lord

Dear Family of Mary,
Again, we remember the message we received on January 25:
The January 25, 2026 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace!
“Dear children, Today, I am calling you to be prayer and a blessing for all those
who have not come to know God’s love. Little children, be different from others and be positive people of prayer and love towards God, that with your lives,
you may be a sign of God’s love to others. I bless you with my motherly blessing
and intercede for each of you before my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call. (With ecclesiastical approval)
Today is a special feast day, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord! St. Joseph and Our Lady took the Baby Jesus to the Temple to present Him to the Lord. This was prescribed in the law for every firstborn son, but there are layers of meaning in the Presentation of This Son!! Jesus is both Son of the Father in Heaven and Son of Mary here on earth. It is a miracle and a wonder!
Let the Gospel reading guide us on this wonder:
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke 2:22-40
When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, Mary and Joseph took Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord, and to offer the sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons, in accordance with the dictate in the law of the Lord.
Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord. He came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform the custom of the law in regard to him, he took him into his arms and blessed God, saying:
“Now, Master, you may let your servant go/ in peace, according to your word,/ for my eyes have seen your salvation,/ which you prepared in the sight of all the peoples:/ a light for revelation to the Gentiles,/ and glory for your people Israel.”
The child’s father and mother were amazed at what was said about him; and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted—and you yourself a sword will pierce—so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived seven years with her husband after her marriage, and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day with fasting and prayer. And coming forward at that very time, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.
When they had fulfilled all the prescriptions of the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth. The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.
The Gospel of the Lord.
The Presentation is a moment of revelation and confirmation for Joseph and Mary and for Simeon and Anna! These four people were especially called to recognize and receive Jesus as the Savior and Lord sent by the Father! They were chosen ones!
In our day, our Mother Mary is with us to show us Her Son, and to help us to draw close to Him. She actually presents Jesus to us, so we can adore Him. And she presents us to the Father so that He will manifest Himself in each of us!! Listen to her words in this message:
December 25, 1987 "Dear children! Rejoice with me! My heart is rejoicing because of Jesus and today I want to give Him to you. Dear children, I want each one of you to open your heart to Jesus and I will give Him to you with love. Dear children, I want Him to change you, to teach you and to protect you. Today I am praying in a special way for each one of you and I am presenting you to God so He will manifest Himself in you. I am calling you to sincere prayer with the heart so that every prayer of yours may be an encounter with God. In your work and in your everyday life, put God in the first place. I call you today with great seriousness to obey me and to do as I am calling you. Thank you for having responded to my call."
May we open our hearts to receive Jesus, Our Lord! And may we allow Our Lady to present each of us to God the Father, that He will manifest Himself in us as well! We are called to put God in the first place in our lives, just as Mary and Joseph, Simeon and Anna did! Do not delay!! Behold the Lord is near!!
