Meditation:
St. Francis de Sales
The saints in Heaven are careful to glorify and praise God, but without anxiety, for they can have none. The angels are solicitous for our salvation, and God Himself is full of care for His creatures but with peace and tranquility. The rest of us are so miserable that we rarely have care without anxiety and upset.

From the book, Thoughts and Sayings of Saint Margaret Mary:
Keep your heart in peace and let nothing trouble you, not even your faults. You must humble yourself and amend them peacefully, without being discouraged or cast down, for God's dwelling is in peace. 35

It is His Will that we should apply to Him in all our needs, with humble, respectful, but very filial trust, abandoning ourselves entirely to His loving care like children to a good father. 34

Hope in His goodness and redouble your confidence in proportion as your troubles increase. 35

Resolution:
To be like Our Lady, I will practice peace in God's Will.  I will try to be content with my life and where the Lord has brought me.  The things that happen to me are all part of His plan.

Marian Vow
The flight of occasions of sin, the guarding of the senses, the mortification of the will and the natural tendencies are indispensable for transformation into the Immaculate. Humility and poverty, patience and dedication to the service of all demands the mortification of pride and ambition, requires the sacrifice of so many small satisfactions and comforts, the serene acceptance of the troubles and annoyances of life, the forgetting of self and of our own interests to care only for those of others.
Marian Seraphic Pathways, Constitutions #11

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks be to God for graces received.
