Mother Mary said at Fatima: "My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the sure way which will lead you to God." St. Thomas Aquinas said: "The things we love tell us who we are!" The Seven Holy Founders were members of a Florentine Confraternity devoted to the Holy Mother of God. They were instructed by Our Lady

in a vision to retire from the world and to found the Order of the Servants of Mary (Servites). This they did on Monte Senario, near Florence, Italy, adopting the Augustinian Rule. They have a special veneration for Our Lady's Seven Dolors.
