Our Lady of Medjugorje said on April 2, 2017:
Prayer is the greatest help in times of need. Often, this results in the greatest times of peace.
A pilgrim on Apparition Mountain praying before the Curcifix. The Cross reminds us of that which we cannot escape in our lives, that trials will always be at our door. Our response, or lack of response, determines the peace we receive.
Prayer is the greatest help in times of need or crisis. This movement towards prayer often results in the greatest times of peace. A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in the Caritas Field Angel Newsletter from November 1995:
“…Many times we experience the greatest peace in the midst of trials, suffering, persecution, etc. The contrast is so vast that it is easily distinguishable. Struggles and conflicts are sometimes the greatest contributors to peace because they put us on our knees, and through these strong prayers from the heart, we receive the grace of peace in our hearts which eventually leads to peace in our surroundings…”
In times of need or trials, run to the Cross, run to prayer, and receive peace.
