The Annunciation and the Consecration!
March 25, 2022
The Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord!
Dear Family of Mary!
On this special Feast Day, the Annunciation of the Lord, many things are going to be streamed live on Mary TV!
At 4:50 pm Medjugorje time, Rosie Zubac will introduce the events to follow. Join us on our live channel at https://www.marytv.tv/.
At 5:00 PM Medjugorje time, Mary TV will stream the Evening Rosary from St. James Church with a simultaneous feed from the Vatican where the Pope will be praying before the Consecration.
Our Lady will come at 5:40 pm Medjugorje time. The parish will pause in silent prayer at that moment to welcome Our Lady. And during that apparition Our Lady will give a message for the world through Marija Pavlovic Lunetti. We will send out the message as soon as we receive the English translation that day!
And at 6:00 PM, Archbishop Aldo Cavalli, the Apostolic Visitor, will celebrate Holy Mass and pray the Consecration Prayers in St. James church after Holy Communion (about 6:50 pm)!
And at approximately 6:30 pm the Holy Father will pray the Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to Our Lady live from the Vatican. Mary TV will stream this prayer live as well.
So many graces are happening tomorrow!!
Here is the full text of the Consecration prayer to be prayed with the Holy Father and the whole church today:
We are instructed to pray this prayer often, along with our Rosaries and daily prayers!
But let's not forget the first reason that this day is important! This is the Annunciation of the Lord! Our Lady said "yes" to the Father and became the Mother of His Son! Our Salvation was secured! And Eve's sin was reversed by Our Lady's pure consent to the Father's will! This day marks the beginning of our salvation through Christ our Lord! Amen!! Praised be God!!
Let's pray the Angelus together! (And may we never stop praying the Angelus from now on!!)
The Angelus Prayer
V. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary...
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R. Be it done to me according to thy word.
Hail Mary. . .
V. And the Word was made flesh.
R. And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary. . .
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
