I am close to you...

Dear Family of Mary!
Like
a good mother, Our Lady longs to be close to us! She also longs for us
to be close to her! She comes every day to Medjugorje in order to be
close to us. She travels possibly billions of miles one way! Why?
Because she loves us so much! She longs to be close to us!
It
is true that we travel a considerable distance to be close to her as
well. Pilgrimage is a big deal! But we long to be close to her! So we
travel by bus, car, plane and train to arrive in our beloved Medjugorje
where we can be with Our Lady in a special way! We want to be close to
her!!
Our Lady has spoken about the closeness she desires with us. Here is one message:
July 25, 1994
"Dear children!
Today I invite you
to decide to give time patiently for prayer.
Little children,
you cannot say you are mine
and that you have experienced conversion
through my messages
if you are not ready to give time to God every day.
I am close to you
and I bless you all.
Little children,
do not forget
that if you do not pray
you are not close to me,
nor are you close to the Holy Spirit
who leads you along the path to holiness.
Thank you for having responded to my call."
Our
closeness to Our Lady depends not on physical proximity, but upon
prayer! This is the way we travel to Our Mother! This is the way we
enter her presence and converse with her. Prayer is also how we draw
close to the Holy Spirit, and to Jesus, and the Father! They all want to
be close to each one of us. What a beautiful gift this is!!! We can
draw close to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit through prayer.
And we also can run into Our Mother's arms, through prayer.
Amazing!!
