Mother Mary said at Fatima: "My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the sure way which will lead you to God." St. Thomas Aquinas said: "The things we love tell us who we are!" With that in mind, I will try to post each day something about Our Blessed Lady, items about the Holy Roman Catholic Church, and public domain Catholic books too! I pray you enjoy my ministry! Below are two albums of pictures that I created: 1. Our grand daughter Adrianna. 2. Tears of Mary!

Once again the media has taken a Catholic report and distorted the truth! After you read this article you may scratch your head trying to figure out what is the truth. While the headline from The Times of London says, “Catholic Church no longer swears by truth of the Bible,” what’s not true is the story and headline itself.
The story is about a document by the bishops of England, Wales, and Scotland on Scripture. By careful quoting out of context, the article has the bishops saying “that they should not expect ‘total accuracy’ from the Bible.” That’s not exactly what they’re saying.
“We should not expect to find in Scripture full scientific accuracy or complete historical precision,” they say in "The Gift of Scripture".
In other words, the Bible is neither a scientific treatise nor a history textbook. But of course, that’s not the point of The Times article. The point is to once again bash Catholics who believe in the Truth of the Scriptures as right-wing fundamentalist jerks!
I personally believe in the TRUTH of the Bible, especially the stories about the Creation, the Fall, the History of the Jewish Nation and their relationship with and intervention of Yahweh, the prophets, the Incarnation of Jesus, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, Jesus life, death, and Resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, and His glorious return at the End of Time!
The Scriptures must be believed and proclaimed as they are written without doubt for the Faith to spread, otherwise everything is straw and blowing away with the wind. You can build your house on sand or on the Rock of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, which will stand till the Parousia!
Come, Lord Jesus!
