EASTER REFLECTION FROM OUR LADY

Our Lady gave Fr. Gobbi many Easter Season Messages. In this one (#424) titled "The Second Pasch in Glory," Mother Mary says "May your hearts be filled with joy and peace . . ."
We are still remembering 'Passion Week' and all the sufferings of Jesus brought to us in the Scriptures; being despised, insulted, scourged, condemned and put to death on the Cross. We especially remember these sacred events when we pray the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. These scenes are brought to our minds as we meditate on them.
But now we celebrate Jesus' raised from the dead! Like the two men on the road to Emmaus, our hope has returned as we too exclaim: "The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon! (Luke 24:35). Imagine if we were there that Day. Would we have recognized Our Blessed Savior? Christ Jesus, Christ Risen, who came forth from the grave in the divine splendor of His glorified body.
That was the Pasch of His Resurrection. Now we wait for His second Pasch. According to Our Lady in a little while Jesus Christ, surrounded by His angels, will return to bring all humanity to a new life, in love and grace, and the Church to its highest sanctity; He will restore His reign of glory in the world! Have confidence and hope!
