The wax museum in Fatima was founded in 1984 with the intention of displaying for all pilgrims the important events of 1917 when the Virgin appeared in Portugal to the small shepherd children.

The wax museum in Fatima was founded in 1984 with the intention of displaying for all pilgrims the important events of 1917 when the Virgin appeared in Portugal to the small shepherd children.

The museum is composed of two parts: the first displays the apparition of Our Lady to the shepherd children; the second presents the personalities connected to Fatima.
