October 15, 2009 THE TRIB TIMES WILL RETURN NEXT WEEK, GOD WILLING (James 4:15).(Luk 11:9-13) And I say to you: Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you. For every one that asketh receiveth: and he that seeketh findeth: and to him that knocketh it shall be opened: And which of you, if he ask his father bread, will he give him a stone? Or a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he reach him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father from heaven give the good Spirit to them that ask him? WESTERN CATHOLIC REPORTER: The Holy Spirit leads truth seekers to God
FROM THE MAILBAG
REFLECTION by Father Ted – October 08, 2009 My dearest Lord Jesus, when I was very young, You taught me that You created me to know You, to love You, and to serve You in this world so that I could be with You forever in Your heavenly home.Every day now You want me to reflect on these truths because You want me to have a very close relationship with You.You always have wanted me to have a close and intimate relationship with You as well as with Your Father and Your Holy Spirit. That is why You have encouraged me to make time for You each day. For how can I get to know You if I do not spend time with You, if I do not talk with You, if I do not listen to You, if I do not share my life with You?

Please no anonymous comments. I require at least some way for people to address each other personally and courteously. Having some name or handle helps.
