On Tuesday (March 8) I mentioned that the Lord was working with me in the area of my thoughts this Lent. He is asking me to monitor my thoughts, and be more positive, more loving, less judgmental, and more giving to everyone I encounter during my regular daily life. It seems that Jesus wants me to be more like Our Lady, ready to bless people at the drop of a hat, as we see in this message from 1985! "Dear children! Today I am blessing you and I wish to tell you that I love you and that I urge you to live my messages. Today I am blessing you with the solemn blessing that the Almighty grants me. Thank you for having responded to my call." (August 15, 1985)I received a beautiful response to Tuesday's reflection from Angie. She gave me permission to share it:
"Thank you for this message today. I was excited when I read the second to last paragraph because I actually did this yesterday at a grocery store!! There was a man who let someone ahead of him because he explained that he didn't have anyone to go home to and obviously the lady with all the groceries 'looked like she had a family to go home to feed'.
"When I left the store I saw him walking slowly to his car and I silently asked for a blessing for him. This is such a wonderful validation for me that I did a very good thing yesterday. I too think this would be great for Lent. What a great idea that you shared today!!"
Wow! I love this! It seems that the Holy Spirit was working in Angie at that moment. Angie was listening when the man at the store shared his heart with her. She grasped the poignancy of his gesture. He is alone. He misses family life. He honored the mother who had lots of groceries, by letting her go first. He gave from his emptiness. And Angie noticed. Then when she saw him later, going slowly to his car all alone, she was filled with the Holy Spirit, and the blessing flowed from her heart to his. This is how the Lord works! He moves th
