Dear Children of Medjugorje, Praised be Jesus and Mary!
1. On March 2nd, 2012, Mirjana received her monthly apparition at the Blue Cross. After the apparition, Mirjana gave us the following message:
“Dear children! Through the immeasurable love of God I am coming among you and I am persistently calling you into the embrace of my Son. With a motherly heart I am imploring you, my children, but I am also repeatedly warning you, that concern for those who have not come to know my Son be in the first place for you. Do not permit that by looking at you and your life, they are not overcome by a desire to come to know Him. Pray to the Holy Spirit for my Son to be impressed within you. Pray that you can be apostles of the divine light in this time of darkness and hopelessness. This is a time of your trial. With a rosary in hand and love in the heart, set out with me. I am leading you towards Easter in my Son. Pray for those whom my Son has chosen, that they can always live through Him and in Him – the High Priest. Thank you.“
2. Is it possible to be an apostle of the divine light? In this blessed time of Lent, we abandon ourselves to the divine mercy in order to be purified. Giulia gave us a marvelous and very encouraging testimony! She is a jolly Italian grandmother. But the relationship between her son, Luigi and her daughter-in-law, Sonia (a non-believer) has deteriorated so much that their separation seemed inevitable. Giulia tells me;
‘The worst time of my life was the five years which passed between the separation of my son from his wife, and their divorce. The more time passed, the more infected the wound became. At the time of the divorce, Sonia unleashed an avalanche of accusations. I will not go into detail. But the worst thing was that their child, Manuele, my grandson, had become caught up in this infernal whirlwind. He was repeatedly interrogated by a social worker and submitted to psychological tests which were inhumain for a little boy of this age. He suffered very much. He felt torn between the love of his father and that of his mother, so much so that he felt forced into saying things that he did not want to. All of this caused me to suffer terribly, to such a degree that I began to howl with grief and sometimes to utter curses against my daughter-in-law.
During the mass one time, when the priest invited us to offer the sign of peace, I gave the kiss of peace to all those around me. Then I closed my eyes and with enormous effort by will, I asked Jesus to help me. I visualized my daughter-in-law interiorly. In spite of the strong resistance which I felt within myself, I asked her forgiveness for having offended her and I forgave her for having broken my heart. Then, still interiorly, I embraced her saying: ‘I give you the peace of Jesus. May the peace of Jesus be in your spirit and in your heart!’
Since that day, I have repeated this prayer at every mass, every day, at the moment of the sign of peace. I had to persevere with it for several months. Little by little my hatred and bitterness decreased until they disappeared altogether. The transformation was incredible. My son asked me: ‘But mother, how have you managed not feel any hatred for Sonia?’ I replied to him: ‘Luigi, I pray!’
Now the divorce is finalized. But Sonia comes willingly to my house, we greet each other graciously and we hug, and we talk calmly together about our little Manuele. It is the Lord who has done this! If He has done this for me … He can and He wants to do it for you too!
3. The visionary Marija is back from the Lebanon! On the 10 and 11 March, at the Beirut forum at Karantina, Marija prayed and gave her testimony in front of more than 60,000 people. Members of every religion of the Lebanon were present; it was an exceptional event for this territory so often stained by the blood of divisions between Christians and Muslims. During the rosary, Maria publically received the apparition of the Blessed Mother on both days. During these apparitions, Maria entrusted all the people of the Lebanon to Our Lady, asking her to bless them, as well as all those whom they carry in their hearts. On the Sunday, Maria asked her if she had a word for them. So the Blessed Mother gave this message to the Lebanese people: “Do not forget that I am your Mother and that I love you!”
What a beautiful reminder of what is essential!
4. From conception to birth! I can not help but recommend to all of you to watch and circulate widely, a marvelous video clip which shows more clearly than ever before, the beginning of human life within the mother’s womb, from the moment of conception up until birth. In order to produce this incredible footage, they have used the most fascinating cutting edge technology.
See How many abortions would be avoided if we sent this footage to all adolescents, who are deprived of the truth about human life these days, instead of giving them condoms and the morning after pill, and pretending that the devastating act of abortion is commonplace and acceptable.
5. Why leave St. Joseph jobless? We will celebrate this great saint on March 19, the spouse of the Mother of God. Every year, I ask him to be able to witness his great tenderness for the children of God, promising him in return that I will make him better known and loved! And it works!
This year, I would like to tell you a true story told to me by my friend Anne:
“On the plane coming back from Medjugorje, I was sat next to a man who was also traveling back from Medj with his family.
John had a number of children and came from Ireland where jobs were hard to find. He told me that one day, a woman spoke to him about St. Joseph and a certain novena called “St. Joseph's cloak”, and she told him to pray this novena, assuring him that St. Joseph would help him find a job. Her aim was also to prove to herself as well as to him that St. Joseph is extremely powerful.
John was not a fervently prayerful man, but his wife prayed for the whole family. He said to this woman that he would do the novena to see for himself if “all this praying really worked!!!”
After the novena he did find a job but he thought this was just a coincidence. After a while, because he didn't like this job much, he saw another job which was much better so he applied for it. He got the interview and went. He therefore decided to do the novena to St. Joseph again “just in case” and to see if it would work again this time. At the end of the interview, the employer said to him "Well, so many people have applied for this job! You will not hear from us before Tuesday next week". The man said, “No problem” but in his heart, he dreamed of landing this job.
As he was driving home (a couple of hours away), he said to St. Joseph, “What are you going to do for me? I really like this job” As these thoughts were running through his mind and his heart, his mobile phone rang. The man who interviewed him said, “John I want to let you know that you have the job, we are not waiting until next week to assess the other candidates, we want you!!!.” John was so shocked that he had to pull off the road to take a deep breath, he was shaking. He couldn't help thinking, “Wow St. Joseph, that was incredible!!! Thank you.” He rang his wife immediately to tell her what had happened. John would never doubt again how powerful St. Joseph’s help is and he did not hold back from telling everyone about it! If at first he had put this positive response down to coincidence, he was now convinced that St. Joseph does indeed listen to his prayers. Today, John is one of St Joseph’s biggest “fans”! He experienced first hand, his protection and the fruits of his intercession before God!
St. Joseph pray for us, pray especially for the fathers of families! You understand their concerns.
Dearest Gospa, yes, please, continue to invite us! It is in the embrace of your Son that we want to live this Lent et let ourselves be transformed. Do not let us escape from there!
