Dear Family of Mary!

On March 18, Mirjana will have her yearly apparition on her birthday, as Our Lady promised her so long ago. I often forget that Mirjana does not see Our Lady every day. Her daily apparitions stopped on December 25, 1992! That was almost 30 years ago. Since then she has seen Our Lady only on her birthday until her monthly apparitions began on August 2, 1987. Of course, to us this seems like a lot of apparitions. But Mirjana suffers greatly every time Our Lady leaves her at the end of an apparition. She wants to go with her! So it probably doesn't seem like a lot to her.

Here is the message Our Lady gave through Mirjana in 2011:

"Dear children! I am with you in the name of the greatest Love, in the name of dear God, who has come close to you through my Son and has shown you real love. I desire to lead you on the way of God. I desire to teach you real love so that others may see it in you, that you may see it in others, that you may be a brother to them and that others may see a merciful brother in you. My children, do not be afraid to open your hearts to me. With motherly love, I will show you what I expect of each of you, what I expect of my apostles. Set out with me. Thank you." (March 18, 2011)

This is a beautiful message! Our Lady wants to show us "real love". We all hunger for real love. We can tell the difference. When love comes to us with strings attached, when we feel that we must perform for that love, or win it, or deserve it, then we know it is not real love. This kind of love is manipulation. Real love is disinterested love, the kind of love that never flickers, that is constant in good times and bad, when we deserve it and when we don't. Real love is a gift, not a reward. Real love is from the heart with no strings attached.

As St. Paul said:

"Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends..."(1 Cor 13: 4-8)

Jesus-on-cross1

Love is best understood when we view Jesus on the Cross. We know that He bore ALL THINGS on the cross, every one of our sins, every one. And He will never give up on us, never. This is real love. May we all experience the real love of Jesus each time we go into prayer. May His real love flood us and fill us to the brim!

So, with gratitude and anticipation, we wait for Our Lady's message through Mirjana on Sunday, March 18, 2012. I will send it out to you all as soon as I get it!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
