Ascene at the Appariton time Rosary in Medjugorje is a cause for reflection of the call of Our Lady.
A lone Israeli flag flaps in the wind at Apparition time Rosary and before Croatian Mass on Saturday, May 12, 2012. A group of 34 Eastern Orthodox Catholics from Israel are on their first pilgrimage to Medjugorje. When asked whether many Israelis are coming to Medjugorje, the man waving the flag stated enthusiastically, “We are starting it up!” It is beautiful watching this flag wave, contemplating how God first chose Israel as His people and His nation to be a light to the world. The group loves their country and is proud to represent Israel in Medjugorje.
Our Lady told the village of Medjugorje on November 15, 1984:
As July 1-5 approaches, it should also be understood and reflected upon that the United States of America has also been chosen by God to play a special role in Our Lady’s plans. As a part of your preparation for Our Lady’s Apparitions July 1-5, 2012, we recommend reading the following 3 booklets below by A Friend of Medjugorje, to reflect on what it means to be chosen by God, the awesome responsibility that comes with being chosen, and what happens when God’s chosen people turn away from Him.
• American History You Never Learned – Our Lady’s hand in the formation and founding of America. • As Go God’s People, So Goes the World – How God's people determine the future path of the world.• Ready'ing' for the Storm – The cycle of sin, suffering, salvation
