His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI
Apostolic Palace
00120 Vatican CityYour Holiness:
We are gravely concerned about the present world situation.
We are concerned about wars, especially in the Middle East, and rumors of more wars.
We are concerned about the worldwide economic crisis and increasing poverty.
We are concerned about those dying of hunger, especially the children.
We are concerned about family breakdown and moral decline.
We are concerned about the increase in abuse of women and of children.
We are concerned about the increase in natural disasters, and their victims. We do not believe that we can solve these problems on our own.
We believe that we need God’s help. We need a new coming of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary, and through Mary, Jesus entered the world.
Mary prayed for the Holy Spirit to come at Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit came.
Mary is ready to intercede for a new coming of the Holy Spirit for the world now.Mary has said that she will intercede for a New Pentecost if you, Holy Father, would publicly proclaim her role as the Spiritual Mother of humanity. This proclamation will lead to a new descent of the Holy Spirit and an era of world peace (see Fatima, Amsterdam, Akita Apparitions, etc).
We therefore ask you, Your Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, please, to publicly proclaim Mary as our Spiritual Mother. We must do something to stop the increasing darkness of world events, and we believe in the powerful intercession of Mary as Advocate to bring the light of Holy Spirit into the world today.
Please, Holy Father, proclaim Mary as our Spiritual Mother, for the sake of the human race. Know that millions support you in your crucial mission to open the door for the Lord to bring grace, redemption, and peace through His Holy Spirit. As “Peter” in our time, you have the key.
Sincerely,

(Amsterdam, Netherlands) On Pentecost Sunday, May 27, 2012, international Catholic celebrities initiate a new worldwide open online petition to Pope Benedict XVI for a “new coming of the Holy Spirit” by publicly proclaiming Mary as humanity’s “Spiritual Mother.”
World renowned celebrities such as Mr. and Mrs. Steve McEveety, Hollywood Producer of “The Passion of the Christ,” “Braveheart”, “Bella”, “We Are Soldiers” and several other international box office hits, are among those supporting the petition for Pope Benedict XVI to make a public proclamation that the mother of Jesus is the “Spiritual Mother” of all peoples.
The worldwide online petition will be officially announced at an International Day of Prayer in Amsterdam on this “Pentecost” Sunday, the day the Catholic Church celebrates the first coming down of the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus after his rising or “ascension” into heaven.
According to several Catholic Church approved apparitions or “appearances” of Mary, the public announcement by the Pope would allow Mary to intercede for a new and powerful “coming of the Holy Spirit for the world.”
The internationally respected Rwandan speaker, Immaculee Llibagiza, author of Left To Tell which describes the horrific slaughter of many of her own family members during the 1994 Rwanda massacre of 1 million people, says that this Marian declaration by Pope Benedict is “so extremely necessary for the world today. Many do not understand the power of Mary to bring people to Jesus, and to bring peace to the world.”
Mother Angelica, Foundress of the worldwide “Eternal Word Television Network” has also voiced her support for the Roman pope to solemnly pronounce this solemn truth or “dogma” about Mary as the world’s Spiritual Mother, having stated: “Unless we proclaim this dogma, something terrible will happen in the world.”
The global petition speaks of the “grave concern” for the “present world situation,” such as the warring in the Middle East, the global economic crisis, world hunger, family breakdown, abuse of women and children, and the contemporary increase in natural disasters.
“We do not believe we can solve these problems on our own…we need God’s help. We need a new coming of the Holy Spirit.”
“Mary prayed for the Holy Spirit to come at Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit came,” the petition states. “Mary is ready to intercede for a new coming of the Holy Spirit for the world now.”
The Catholic Church already believes the teaching that Mary was given by Jesus Christ as a spiritual mother to humanity when he said the words from the cross, “Behold, your mother.” This doctrine, however, has never been officially declared by the popes in a solemn or “dogmatic” announcement.
The petition goes on to state, “We must do something to stop the increasing darkness of world events…Please, Holy Father, proclaim Mary as our Spiritual Mother, for the sake of the human race.”
All “brothers and sisters in the world who share our concerns” are invited by the petition’s authors to add their own names and nationalities to the celebrity petition on http://www.amsterdamapparitions.com/online-petition/
This online request directed to the spiritual leader of over 1 billion Catholics concludes: “Know that millions support you in your crucial mission to open the door to bring grace, redemption, and peace through His Holy Spirit. As “Peter” in our time, you have the key.”
