A Spiritual Retreat For Your Courageous Priest

ALL priests and deacons of the Catholic Church are invited to the annual convocation of the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy, a national association promoting ongoing spiritual, theological and pastoral formation in a fraternal setting and context under the maternal patronage of Our Lady Queen of the Clergy. Conference keynote speaker is Bishop Glen Provost. Details at Catholic-Clergy.org – Chicago Event.

  • Confraternity of Catholic Clergy 2012 Convocation – July 31– August 3

Consider the gift of a Confraternity of Catholic Clergy annual convocation ($450) or provide him with transportation to the event. The Confraternity can also use donations for scholarships to help those clergy (priests, deacons and seminarians) who cannot afford to come due to financial difficulties.

ONGOING spiritual, theological and pastoral formation of the clergy is not an option nor luxury; it is a NECESSITY. The CCC provides this ongoing formation in a fraternal setting with our ordained brethren who unequivocally proclaim loyalty and obedience to the Magisterium and the Roman Pontiff. URGE your clergy to ‘come and see’ (membership not a requirement to attend convocation)

What is the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy?

The Confraternity of Catholic Clergy is an association of 600 Roman Catholic Priests and Deacons pledged to the pursuit of personal holiness, loyalty to the Roman Pontiff, commitment to theological study and strict adherence to the authentic teachings of the Magisterium.

Founded in 1975, the Confraternity seeks to implement the call of Vatican II for ongoing intellectual, spiritual and pastoral formation of the local clergy.

The Confraternity achieves this in three ways:

a)  Annual Convocation where theological scholars and experts give lectures and hold discussions with members;
b)  Publication of journal, SAPIENTIA, which presents sacred sciences, magisterial decrees and current events for the local cleric to understand;
c)  Local chapter meetings where afternoons of recollection take place, including time for theological reading/discussion, common prayer (Vespers), Eucharistic Holy Hour, Rosary, confessions and time for fraternity.

Who Can Join?

The Confraternity of Catholic Clergy is a membership organization for Clergy, however, the Confraternity welcomes and encourgages Associate Members (Lay Members).  The $50 Annual Dues entitles both Clergy and Lay members (Associates) with an annual subscription of our quarterly journal SAPIENTIA (the official Newsletter of the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy).
