NIGHT REFLECTION

Message #89 to Fr. Gobbi is titled, 'Do Not Fear.'

Our Lady is sharing some intimate moments that happened on the night Jesus was born! Jesus, our light, is born in a miraculous manner. Our Lady, in her motherly anxiety, is caught up in a light from heaven, and Jesus is born in a virginal manner! This is something that the Church has always believed, and that's why Our Lady is called the ever -Virgin Mary. In that miraculous light, one moment Christ is inside Her womb and in another moment He is in Her arms as a new-born Babe!

But it was a deep night and the world was still in a deeper night of sin and had no hope of salvation.Even the Chosen people were not ready to receive their Messiah. No one was looking for Him and there was no place to receive Him. Unexpected, unwelcomed, and even rejected by the world, our redeemer was born in a stable in Bethlehem.

He is born in poverty, and in the pain of this rejection; He feels the cold of the world and sheds His first tears. Mother Mary mingles Her tears to His and wipes them away with Her kisses. At least He has the love of His Mother and St. Joseph, His chosen foster-father. And He has our love too, these 2000 years later, as we shed tears looking at the nativity scene.

Our Lady says, Do not fear! Jesus is our Savior! And She gives Him to us as a precious Gift from Heaven! But the world is still rejecting Him; it is darker now , more than ever; the coldness, the hatred, the pride, and the unbelief envelops the whole world. Even the Church is in a crisis with many clergy doubting about the Little Child born in Bethlehem.

Do not fear! Mary announces to us the great tidings of joy: Her Son Jesus is our Savior! We were all redeemed by Him; we can all be saved by Him! As Our Lady gave Him to us at His birth, now She gives us the joy of His salvation. Soon the whole world will rejoice over the Gift of that first Christmas. The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will cause a new birth of Jesus in the hearts of all mankind!

Do not fear! Have confidence; do not be discouraged or anxious; the future that awaits us will be a new dawn for the whole world, at last made clean. A time of Peace and Brotherhood will soon be upon us, in a purified and conscious corrected world!
