Tonights title of Message 83 is 'Be Joyous.'
Our Lady is telling Fr. Gobbi why She has chosen him: because he is the poorest, the smallest, the most limited, the most destitute, and because of his past sinfulness! Amazing! But She also says that he is like a sign of what She will soon do at the moment of Her great triumph. Conversion!
Just when the devil thinks he has won; that he is victorious over the whole world, over the Church, over souls; Our Lady will intervene -- terrible and victorious -- and Satan will suffer a great defeat! What is going to happen is so extraordinary that it has never happened before since the creation of the world! But everything is already predicted in the Bible, She says.
The great struggle between Our Lady and the Red Dragon, Satan, has been foretold in the Book of Revelation. And the battle between the angels with Our Lady's children and the rebellious angels with the followers of the Red Dragon has also been foretold! And especially Our Lady's complete victory has been foretold too!
And so Our Lady discloses some of Her plan: Satan will be permitted to enter the Church and plunge the sanctuary into darkness. His victims will be the ministers of the sanctuary. There will be great falls among the priests. Satan will seduce many by pride, love of the flesh, doubts, unbelief, discouragement and loneliness.
But Mother Mary says: Be serene; be joyful! But how, Mother, how? Our Lady says this is not the end of my Church; but a great and marvelous renewal! Stay in Her Heart, She says, and you will be so purified and strengthened that no one will ever snatch you from Her divine Son! She will make us living images of Jesus! Amen to that!
