MY REFLECTION
Message #82 is titled 'What it means to Be a Mother.'
Our Lady is explaining to Fr. Gobbi about Her Motherhood. A mother takes care of her children, especially those who are the littlest, the poorest, the suffering and the sinners. It is Her maternity that saves us!
She explains it deeper: The Father's justice determined that the sacred suffering and death of Jesus, His only-begotten Son would pay for our redemption. The love of the Sacred Heart of the Son has determined that Mary, His and our Mother would bring us to salvation. Simple isn't it?
When we hear it from Our Lady it becomes ever so clear. That's why Our Lady is always seen at the foot of the Cross: "Woman, behold your son (St. John). Son, behold your Mother" (John 19:26-27). From that moment Mary became our Mother and Mediatrix!
"Do not be afraid," Our Lady says, "Do not be anxious." Mother Mary is preparing a great marvel! Recalling the great 'Victory of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Lepanto', soon we will be witnesses to Her greatest Triumph! A new date will be celebrated. The battle has begun and the weapons are prayer, and the rosary, and of trust. Holy mother Church will soon flourish anew under Our Lady's most pure mantle! Alleluia!
