EVENING REFLECTION
'Your Heaviest Cross,' is the title of Message 74 to Fr. Gobbi.
Our Lady wants complete surrender to Her in prayer and suffering! She now explains Her great suffering, her bitterness and anguish that overwhelms Her Heart! It is because of so many of Her priest-sons who have been taken over by Satan. This is a difficult subject to write and meditate on. My heart too grieves for these poor priests and deacons too, who have betrayed Holy Mother Church! Even some of my close friends have been accused and some suspended!
Mother Mary says that many priests no longer believe in Jesus and continually betray Him! They live constantly in sin! They have become propagators of error; instead of proclaiming the Gospel in truth, they are leading many souls down the road to perdition! The abomination of desolation has entered the Holy Church of God!
Our Lady is repeating what Pope Paul VI said in 1972 in a homily: "from some fissure, the smoke of Satan has entered the Temple of God." (Quoted from Vatican. va Web site, translated from Italian) Our Lady says that Her Heart is submerged in a sea of sorrow because these priest-sons are no longer the salt of the earth; no longer the light on the candle, but instead salt without savor; darkness making the world darker!
What can we do to help these priests who are so ill and need Our Lady's help? First of all, we should not judge them, do not condemn them, that's not our role. We must love them by our prayers, our suffering, our good example! If you are a priest or Religious, never abandon your ecclesiastical garb; as the Vicar of Christ has expressed this so many times. Be united in a great force of prayer (Cenacles) to obtain from the Sacred Heart of Jesus their conversion and repentance and salvation!
This is the heavy Cross which Our Lord asks us to carry: Suffer with the Pope, bishops, and faithful priests by living side by side with those who no longer believe; who are unfaithful servants, yet remain in the Church as deceivers. It won't be easy for us, but this is only the beginning, Our Lady says, because this scandal will grow even greater and more serious as the apostasy from the Gospel will one day be general in the Holy Church before the great liberating Purification comes!
Every day I offer my prayers for all those priests, deacons, religious, who are in trouble, causing scandal, abandoned and rejected. Many have been accused and rejected and are innocent! Their sufferings must be overwhelming too! Mother Mary's last words today are simply 'live in surrender and trust, like little children, in My Immaculate Heart!' The purification is coming soon! Thank God!
