EWTN Presents 'Thérèse!'

EWTN is proud to present the #1 ranked exclusively Catholic film: Luke Films' blockbuster movie, "Thérèse!" Thanks to its stunning visuals and beautiful acting, the film, which has been officially endorsed by the Vatican, has received rave reviews. (Airs 9 p.m. ET, Wed., Dec. 8 – one time only!)

This is no mean feat considering that St. Thérèse is one of the best known and most loved saints in the Roman Catholic Church. That Leonardo Defilippis, founder and director of St. Luke Productions, which owns Luke Films, loves his subject is evident from the open scenes of the film in which 4-year-old Thérèse discovers that her beloved and saintly mother has died. 

The two-hour feature film chronicles the young girl's faith, trials and sacrifices as well as her "little way" of love and simplicity. However, as you view the Martin family's loving home life, it quickly becomes evident that the faith of this young girl, one of two female doctors of the Church, was sown by God and nurtured by her very holy family.
