Quote:
"O, how courteous and benign is the most Blessed Virgin to those who suffer in purgatory! Through her they constantly receive comfort and refreshment."
St. Alphonsus di Liguori, The Glories of Mary, (Tan Books: 1978), 233.

Meditation:
"The Blessed Virgin herself told the saint [Bridget], ‘that as a poor sick person, bedridden, suffering, and abandoned, is relieved by words of encouragement and consolation, so are the souls in purgatory relieved by only hearing her name."
â"The mere name of Mary, that name of hope and salvation, and which is frequently invoked by her beloved children in their prison, is a great source of comfort to them; 'for,'says Novarinus, 'that loving Mother no sooner hears them call upon her than she offers her prayers to God, and these prayers, as a heavenly dew, immediately refresh them in their burning pains."
St. Alphonsus di Liguori, The Glories of Mary, (Tan Books: 1978), 2

33.
Resolution:
Today I will pray for the souls in purgatory by entrusting them to the merciful Mother of God. I will say Ave Maria or Hail Mary and ask Our Lady to bring her comfort to the souls. How many, many heavenly friends I will make today!
Marian Vow:
"At the funeral of a deceased tertiary the members of the Cenacle should participate by offering Holy Mass and Communion for the deceased soul; they should recite also, in common, a Holy Rosary for the repose of the soul.
Once a month, in every M.I.M. Cenacle Holy Mass is to be celebrated for the souls of the deceased tertiaries, and the members of the Cenacle should strive to participate in that Holy Mass."
Marian Seraphic Pathways, Constitutions #52
I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Thanks be to God for graces received.
