Topic: The Wisdom of Mary
Quote:
St. Bernard
"Mary is rightly represented as clothed with the sun for she penetrated into the profound abyss of divine wisdom more deeply that we can think or believe, to such an extent indeed, that she seems to have become immersed in that inaccessible light, so far as it is possible for a creature who does not have a personal union with God."
St. John Eudes, The Admirable Heart of Mary, (Loreto Publications), 128.
Meditation:
St. John Eudes
"Our Lady possesses a special knowledge of those who are most devoted to her; she knows God's designs concerning them, the road they should follow to reach God, the state and dispositions of their souls, all the accidents that befall them, all their possible perils, the pains they suffer, interiorly and exteriorly. She knows the temptations that assail them, the evil schemes of their enemies and all their corporal and spiritual needs, so that she may assist, protect, defend and strengthen her faithful followers, obtain from her divine son the help they need most, and she herself the best of mothers to them."
St. John Eudes, The Admirable Heart of Mary, (Loreto Publications), 128.
Resolution:
The Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us,
“In the battle of prayer we must confront erroneous conceptions of prayer, various currents of thought, and our own experience of failure. We must respond with humility, trust, and perseverance to these temptations which cast doubt on the usefulness or even the possibility of prayer."
The words of St. John Eudes should help me to practice ardent entrustment to the Immaculate.Today, I will begin trusting in my heavenly Mother with my morning offering and then try to remember during the day that the Holy Mother of God is at my side willing and capable of helping me.

Marian Vow:
St. Maximilian Kolbe
"We belong to her, to the Immaculate. We are hers without limits, most perfectly hers; we are, as it were, herself. Through our mediation she loves the good God. With our poor heart she loves her divine Son. We become the mediators through whom the Immaculate loves Jesus. And Jesus, considering us her property and, as it were, a part of his beloved Mother, loves her in us and through us. What a lovely mystery!"
Fr. Anselm W. Romb, OFM Conv. Ed., The Kolbe Reader, (Franciscan Marytown Press: 1987), 93-4
I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Thanks be to God for graces received.
