15 Years Online

From Father Finelli's Medjugorje Page:
Thank you Padre, for your service to Our lady and her intentions! You are an inspiration to me and many others. I'm so glad to have met you on the Internet. May the Lord continue to bless your ministry and may Our Blessed Mother Mary keep you close to her Immaculate Heart!

15 Years Online

It all began as a little website without it’s own domain name. It was 1995 was, 15 years ago that I began this website. I had heard about the internet, got someone to help me get online and shortly thereafter was the beginning of Father Finelli’s Medugorje Page. I’ll never forget how excited I was to see that 5 people had visited in a day! I wanted to spread Our Lady’s messages and I saw the internet as a great possibility. We have come a long way since 1995 and 5 visitors a day. Today, this website is the longest Medjugorje website in existence. In the beginning, there were only two of us and today, there are many. I want to thank Our Lady for all she has done for me. I give her credit for my vocation and the many, many graces I have received. Without Our Lady, I would not be the priest I am today. I also want to thank you, the faithful visitors to this site, some of you go back almost to the beginning. I have met some of you along the way. In fact, I have always been very touched when I have have met some of you on Apparition Hill or the Cross Mountain. I also recall being at the Defending the Faith Conference at Franciscan University, when a group of young women went hysterical because I was Fr. Finelli from the Medugorje.com website. It was humbling, because I felt like a rock star. Although I enjoy those meetings and the excitement involved, that is not why I do this. I began and continue this website because of my love for Our Lady and my desire to see all people live the message of Our Lord and His Holy Church with deep love and intensity. There is nothing greater than serving Christ and His Church. Thank you all again! Spread the world and let us together run into the arms of Our Lord and Our Lady! God bless, Fr. Finelli
