[MaryVitamin] everything with love

Mary Vitamin for June 17th

Topic: Everything with love

Quote:
[T]he duties of active life did not prevent her from loving, and love did not prevent her from attending to those duties.
St. Alphonsus di Liguori, The Glories of Mary, (Tan Books), 474.

Meditation:
Mary herself revealed to Saint Bridget, that in this world she never had any thought , desire, or joy, but in and for God: "I thought," she said, "of nothing but God, nothing pleased me but God," so that her blessed soul being in the almost continual contemplation of God while set on earth, the acts of love which she formed were innumerable, as Father Suarez writes: "The acts of perfect charity formed by the Blessed Virgin in this life, were without number; for nearly the whole of her life was spent in contemplation, and in that state she constantly repeated acts of love."
St. Alphonsus di Liguori, The Glories of Mary, (Tan Books), 474.

Resolution:
St. Margaret Mary suggests
"Do everything through love and for love, making good use of the present moment, and do not be anxious of the future." In this way, it is possible to live an active life and at the same time to have a prayer life. Our Lady gives the perfect example.

Today, I will ask our Lady to help me do everything through love making good use of the present.

Marian Vow:
For this reason the members of M.I.M. have the concrete scope of cultivating amidst daily duties the knowledge and love, the imitation and cult of the Immaculate Mediatrix, by means of prayer and meditation, of in-depth study of the mystery of Mary "centered on the Immaculate Conception and universal Mediation",  so that entire being and activity of the person consecrated to the Immaculate reflect in a living way, existentially, the Immaculate in her being, 'full of grace', and the universal Mediatrix in her activity for the salvation of mankind.
Marian Seraphic Pathways, Directory #10a

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks be to God for graces received.
