You Better Do It... Or You'll be Sorry
Monsignor Joseph Chiang, along with several Chinese pilgrims from Canada, visited the Community of Caritas Mission House in Medjugorje last week. They came in to receive the beautiful cards printed with Our Lady’s messages. Monsignor and his companions were very attentive in listening about Our Lady’s mission here in Medjugorje, and Monsignor Joseph received a copy of Words from Heaven® provided, by our Field Angels, free to priests who visit the Caritas Mission House in Medjugorje.
Monsignor gave us a beautiful blessing, and he prayed to Our Lady at the statue in the Caritas Mission House, where Our Lady has appeared to Medjugorje visionary Marija on several occasions. Monsignor commented that it was probably the first time the Chinese language was prayed there.
Monsignor Chiang was the main celebrant at Holy Mass on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at St. James Church in Medjugorje. Monsignor Joseph spoke strongly regarding the Sacrament of Confession. Following is what Monsignor said:
“I believe we come here to Medjugorje for one thing… a miracle, right? Most of you want to see a miracle from the Blessed Mother. Our Blessed Mother calls us to pray, that is, pray with the heart. Pray the Rosary with your heart, not with your lips, not with your good intentions, but with your heart! Our Lady said to go to Holy Mass and receive Holy Communion frequently. Also, read the Bible everyday and do penance.
Monsignor Chiang from Canada speaks to us of one of the most important things to do while in Medjugorje.
“The most critical thing Our Lady is asking us to do is to make a good Confession. Oh no, that is the tough part of our Catholic faith! People say,‘Confession, I don’t want to go to Confession. I go to Mass and receive Holy Communion, but Confession is tough for me.’ Our Lady said that we have to make a good Confession and that is the way to begin our personal conversion. Our Lady tells us to return to Her Son and She will help us. If you do not make a Confession while you are in Medjugorje, you will be sorry. You better do it and do it good and do it completely. Give a good and sincere Confession before you go home. In Confession, you yourself experience that miracle you were looking for. When you return home from Medjugorje, your family and friends will see a change in you. They will say, ‘You have become a new person. What brought the change?’ You will know that the change came after you made a good Confession. This is the message of Our Lady of Medjugorje: to change.
