Our Lady overlooks Medjugorje from Apparition Hill (c)Mary TV 2012 |

Dear Family of Mary!
"Dear children! With great hope in the heart, also today I call you to prayer. If you pray, little children, you are with me and you are seeking the will of my Son and are living it. Be open and live prayer and, at every moment, may it be for you the savor and joy of your soul. I am with you and I intercede for all of you before my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call." (June 25, 2012)
Yesterday was a beautiful day for me. I rose very early, 5:00 am, and went up Apparition Hill by myself, in silence. For the first time, the hill was practically empty. I was alone with Our Lady. Only a few pilgrims were scattered over the hill side. And it was like heaven. Here are a few pictures of Apparition Hill in the early morning.

The climb up Apparition Hill is defined by powerful bronze sculptures of the Mysteries of the Rosary. Pilgrims stop at each mystery to meditate (and catch their breath!)

Along the way there are many small crosses. You can see the Rosary at the base of this one. The Rosary and the Cross are powerful symbols of faith.

The way up the hill are the Joyful Mysteries, crossing the top of the hill are the Sorrowful Mysteries which lead to the place of apparition. The Glorious Mysteries take you back down the hill. Her statue, donated by grateful parents of a child who was healed in Medjugorje, overlooks Medjugorje with a mother's watchful eye.

Apparition Hill is a place of silence and prayer. It is a place where the soul can relax in the arms of Mary, and be filled with her love.

We were able to join Ivan for one last apparition last night, and I recommended all of you to Our Lady, all your intentions and needs. I feel that she wanted to bless all of us very much, because we are listening to her messages and trying to put them into practice. Our daily contact is only for that reason. Praise God!!
We leave Medjugorje tomorrow, Friday, June 29. I will have time for one last reflection from Medjugorje, and then I go to Rome, Italy, to visit my daughter for a week. I will try to send out reflections but I may have to take a day or two off. This will be precious time for me with Mary, as I only see her once a year. So, forgive me if I don't write every day.
God bless you!!
