SCRIPTURE COMMENTARY #152

And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man sick of the palsy: "Be of good heart, son, thy sins are forgiven thee." (Matt. 9:2)

THE COMPASSION OF JESUS ON REPENTANT SINNERS: He lovingly addressed the sick man as "son," and consoled him.
