CALIFORNIA, STAND UP FOR JESUS!

State‐wide "Prayer Rally for Jesus" in Lodi, California
Wednesday, 5 August 2009, 6pm, steps of City Council.
Why? The Lodi City Council is considering a vote to BAN THE NAME OF JESUS from public
prayers offered before city council meetings. They will debate and vote on 5 August 2009.
Who?
‐‐Former Navy Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt will fly in to lead the emergency rally
and take a stand with many California pastors (including yours?) and their churches.
‐‐Lodi California Mayor Larry D. Hansen fears a lawsuit by atheist groups if he doesn't silence
Christian prayers, and has requested to hear your public opinion.
When?
‐‐“Rally for Jesus” Prayer Meeting is now scheduled for 6pm on Wednesday, August 5th, 2009
on the steps outside the City Council meeting, moments before the council will debate & vote.
‐‐Followed by "standing room only crowd" inside the Lodi City Council debate at 7pm.
