[MaryVitamin] Advent and Adoration

Mary Vitamin for December 16th

Topic: Advent & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Quote:
 St. Peter Julian Eymard
"It was Mary who first adored the Incarnate Word. He was in her womb, and no one on earth knew of it."

Meditation:
"Oh! How well was our Lord served in Mary's virginal womb! Never has He found a ciborium, a golden vase more precious or purer than was Mary's womb!"
St. Peter Julian Eymard

Resolution:
Today , the Angelus bell will remind me to turn my eyes and heart to the Tabernacle.  The sound of the bell will ring across the ages and bring me back to the Annunciation.  Then I will pray the Angelus and add a Spiritual Communion. I will see that the Lord comes to me in the Blessed Sacrament, with His body, blood, soul and divinity because He first became a man in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Marian Vow:
St. Maximilian Kolbe
"When the time of Christ's coming was fulfilled, the Triune God creates for himself exclusively an Immaculate Virgin, fills her with his grace, and comes to live with her the Lord is with thee. And this most Blessed Virgin so moves the heart of God by her humility, that God the Father gives her his only-begotten Son to be her Son. God the Son enters her virginal womb, and God the Holy Spirit forms within her the most sacred Body of the God-Man. And, so, the Word was made flesh, fruit of the love of God and the Immaculata."
Will to Love, (Marytown Press: 1998), 19.

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks be to God for graces received.
