Solemnity of the Mother of God
Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,
In 431 A.D. at the Council of Ephesus, a Marian dogma was proclaimed.  The world knew beyond all doubt, from the highest authority in the Church and under the inspiration of the infallible Spirit, that the Virgin Mary was truly Mother of the God the Son made man.
Immediately, Marian devotion exploded in both East and West to such an extraordinary nature and degree that historians state that a detailed documentation of the expansive love of the Mother in multifaceted forms of art, architecture, liturgy, poetry, and most every dimension of culture would be impossible.

Such is the historic and supernatural effect of a Marian dogma

My friends, I believe we are on the horizon of a similar explosion of Marian grace and consequential world blessing.  It is called the "Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary" and the key that unlocks the graces of this Marian Triumph is precisely the papal pronouncement of a new Marian Dogma:  that the Blessed Virgin Mary is truly the Spiritual Mother of All Peoples, as Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces and Advocate.

For all who have been faithfully praying and offering for this fifth Marian Dogma, I am delighted to forward on to you some extremely exciting and encouraging news. On December 8, 2009, the anniversary of the Marian Dogma of the Immaculate Conception, Zenit International Catholic News Agency based in Rome published a letter by His Eminence, Luis Cardinal Aponte Martinez, Archbishop Emeritus of San Juan, to all other Latin American cardinals and bishops, updating them on the worldwide progress on the fifth Marian Dogma.  In particular, Cardinal Aponte informed his brother prelates of the groups of cardinals and bishops from every continent who have, within the last few months, petitioned Pope Benedict XVI for the next positive step towards this solemn Marian definition.

As you may be aware, motherofallpeoples.com has published the letter of Cardinal Aponte Martinez for your own reading.  My brothers and sisters, at the beginning of this new year of 2010, allow me once again to beg you for your continued prayers, or a renewed resolution to pray and offer sacrifices daily for our beloved Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI and the solemn papal definition of the Our Lady as the Spiritual Mother of each and every human being.  Let us generously support in prayers and offerings the heroic petitioning of our cardinals and bishops worldwide, that soon, and, if it be God's will by this chosen pontiff, Our Mother may be rightly recognized as the Spiritual Mother which she became at Calvary by the eternal words of Her Crucified Son: "Woman, behold your son...Behold, your Mother" (Jn. 19:26-27).

Dear friends in Jesus and Mary, this time is Our Mother's time.  By the day, we need her most powerful intercession to bring unprecedented grace, redemption, and peace to the world in ubiquitous crisis.  Along with including the fifth Marian Dogma in your daily mass and Rosary intentions, I encourage you to pray the prayers of the Lady of All Nations, a sublime prayer approved by the Church and given by Our Lady herself for this historic and critically needed Marian definition.

Let us bring another Ephesus event into our own day.  Let us experience a new explosion of Marian love and devotion, bringing forth a New Springtime for the Church, a New Pentecost for the Church, a new Reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the world, a new Era of Peace for all humanity-all through the proclamation of the roles of Our Lady, allowing her to do what she is: the Co-redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces and Advocate for the entire human race.

Lord Jesus Christ,
Son of the Father,
send now your Spirit over the earth.
Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations,
that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster, and war.
May the Lady of all nations, the Blessed Virgin Mary, be our Advocate.  Amen

In the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,
