Spiritual Gems:

The Most Blessed Sacrament

"The Lord calls us and speaks to us and guides us in our spiritual and secular lives and sometimes He uses ordinary people for extraordinary things.  I have never felt loved so greatly.  I thought I had always believed in the Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament but, I think it was more intellectual than feeling the Real Presence as I do today.  The more I visited Him the more I got to know Him and the more intimate the conversations.  Sometimes I come bursting in with happiness, bouncing in the church door, anxious to tell Him (as if He didn’t know)

about something wonderful happening in my life.  Or, I come in and just can’t wait to thank Him for something beautiful, wonderful, lovely that has happened.  Other times I come in crying and sobbing with my hurts and disappointments in life.  Sometimes, I hear an inner voice of consolation and wisdom.  Other times I just need to know my God is there, that He just sits with me as I sit with Him."

Please no anonymous comments. I require at least some way for people to address each other personally and courteously. Having some name or handle helps.
