CMMB: Your Weekly Reflection in Prayer 9/30/2012

Weekly Prayer Reflection for Autumn

“Would that all the people of the Lord were prophets! Would that the Lord might bestow His spirit on them all!”

Numbers 11:29
September 30, 2012
26th Sunday of Ordinary Time
Dear John,
Christians believe that through Baptism, each one is linked to Jesus Christ, Who is a priest, prophet, king and servant. All are called to serve their brothers and sisters in love. Some are ordained priests, and some have the special gift of prophecy.
Yet ALL are called to be a part of the “prophethood of all believers.” This means that God speaks to each one of us. God has a word and will, tailored and fit for each one of us. He pours out His Spirit generously and widely. But we have to be attentive and listen.
By prophecy, we do not mean the ability to predict future events. Rather we mean the ability to see and share in God’s view of the present. We are able to judge events with the wisdom of God’s Spirit.

Fatimavision

Loving God, touch every part of us with Your Spirit and Your power. Be in our hearts, that every unclean thought may be banished from them. Be in our minds, that they may be eager to learn and retentive to remember. Be in our ears, that they may hear Your small voice speaking to us. Be upon our hands, that they may do an honest day’s work for ourselves and that we may ever help others. Be upon our feet, that we may never stray from the way that leads to You. So may Your Spirit be on every part of us that we may be able to take all life and bring it as an offering to You. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Your Role in God's Plan of Mercy

Media_httpgallerymail_ukswe

Do you realize how many sinners you can save in a single day?
Think of my dazzling power and generosity.
Who could hinder Me from giving you souls if I wish to do so?
My justice is shackled by My mercy,
Which is moved to pity by the prayers of those I love.

I Feel Like I Am In Purgatory

Marija: Being on earth is living Purgatory

By Jakob Marschner on Sep 26, 2012

Visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti marked the Virgin Mary’s repeated calls to live for Heaven by saying that, after seeing it, life on earth feels like Purgatory. We visionaries hope to attain the Paradise we have seen, but even we are in need of conversion, she told in passing on recent message.

medjugorje visionary seer veggente marija pavlovic lunetti talk

Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti

Paradise exists, the Medjugorje visionaries tell they all saw it in the 1980s, but a conscious decision for God while on earth is needed to get there.

These were the main themes when visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti delivered the Virgin Mary’s monthly message on Radio Maria on September 25:

“Dear children! When in nature you look at the richness of the colors which the Most High gives to you, open your heart and pray with gratitude for all the good that you have and say: ‘I am here created for eternity’ – and yearn for heavenly things because God loves you with immeasurable love. This is why He also gave me to you to tell you: ‘Only in God is your peace and hope, dear children’. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

father padre fr livio fanzaga director radio maria

Fr. Livio Fanzaga, director of Radio Maria

“I don’t know if you have noticed that in Our Lady’s messages of this year, we are reminded of Eternity, Heaven. Do you suppose it is because we don’t think enough about that?” Radio Maria director Fr. Livio Fanzaga opened his talk with the seer.

“True. I think she wants to “stick to that subject” because the world is too attached to earthly things, and she is back to a theme of the early years: “Me instead of Thee.”  [Io & Dio rhyme in Italian, ed.]. She repeats “place God before everything”, and it can seem like telling a story at times because we might not be living our faith with an open heart and sincerity” Marija replied.

Heaven or Hell – or Purgatory in between the two? Through how he lives his life on earth, each human being decides his fate after death and, ultimately, his eternity, the Virgin Mary reaffirmed Catholic teaching in the earliest days of her apparitions in Medjugorje

“Daily life can seem to be removed from – or another world when compared to – living your faith but Our Lady wants us to combine the two, by saying “Dear children you cannot go on in this way.” Many times she has repeated to us that without God you have neither a future nor eternal life. She repeats it, and we repeat it. Today the focus is on worldly values.”

- The visionaries have seen Paradise, some even in their body. Do you feel nostalgic towards it?

“Yes, and in a big way. The five minutes with her make us want to have God in our hearts to carry us the entire day, at that point we have Paradise in our hearts. Our Lady would like us to do everything in God; we might still think of “apparition time” or “Mass time” or “time to eat” or “sleep time.”

- Marija, I am thinking about this: You have seen Paradise, but when you have been with her five minutes, you have been in Paradise again. Our Lady is Paradise that comes down to Earth. After you have seen Our Lady, how do you feel about returning here?

“Like I am in Purgatory, Father Livio. Nothing less because as you say we feel nostalgic towards Paradise. We hope to attain Paradise even here and now, but we are distant; even we need conversion”.

medjugorje visionary marija pavlovic lunetti radio maria

Marija during a previous appearance on Radio Maria

- We don’t see her, but when she comes through a visionary, we are reminded that our goal is Paradise, and she brings a bit of it down, but I have noticed many times that Our Lady has had us find the presence of God by looking at nature. In particular she recalls this by the colors of flowers or those of nature. She invites us to read nature in a mystical way, like St Francis.

“Yes, probably because in nature our heart is closer to God. We are marveled by the colors and such. Even this evening she said “Say: I was created for eternity” and “yearn for the heavenly things.” Think about God, think about the love of God that there is for us.”

The prayer of the Rosary has been at the forefront of the Medjugorje message ever since the Virgin Mary’s apparitions began. This one was made of stones from Apparition Hill

Month of the Rosary

At this point Fr. Livio Fanzaga looked ahead into October, the month dedicated to the prayer of the Rosary, and as such a month especially devoted to a most integral part of the Medjugorje message:

- I would like to ask one last question. We are about to start the month of October, the month of the Rosary. Our Lady has asked for it, daily and all the mysteries.

“True, she has asked for the Rosary as her preferred prayer, and she calls for it daily. Not only the Rosary, but that our life becomes a prayer. Through it we open our hearts to her, and she said through it she can intercede to God for us, because our heart opens.”

medjugorje visionary seer veggente marija pavlovic lunetti cassola italy italia september 22

Marija surrounded by priests in Cassola, Italy, on September 22

“Some object to the Rosary as repetitious, but Our Lady replies that if you love someone you say one-thousand times “I love you.” Through the Rosary we give our litany in our own small way.”

- Our Lady has insisted on the Rosary within the family.

“She says if a family prays, it is holy – if it does not, it is far from God. She asks us to make prayer the central point of our daily life. A family that is in God goes forward. If not we have no future perspectives.”

- You have four boys. Is it hard for you to have the Rosary said in your family?

“When they were smaller it was simpler. I have to thank God that even today they gladly pray. I hope it always grows. I also hope so through my example and my life.”

Dear Family of Mary!

This has been an exciting week! Mary TV was able to successfully stream the Evening of Prayer at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. It was an incredible event. Five hours of prayer and witnessing went by like a flash! It was as if our hearts were transfixed for that time in the love of Our Lady!

I have some "stats" from the live transmission. We have a rough idea of how many computers were connected to our live transmission on Tuesday. There were 280,000 hits on our website that day, which is huge! We believe there were over 10,000 computers connected for the entire event! Many computers were connected to large TV screens so that groups of people could attend. So it is certain there were many more than 10,000 people participating, live!!  (The recordings are up on our home page, and we noticed last year that even more people watched the recordings!!)

The stats show that there were at least 94 countries represented. The list we have here is arranged according from largest to smallest number of participants per country. But you can see that the prayer generated by this event was "worldwide"!!!

1.United States 2.Slovakia 3.Brazil 4.Canada   5.Portugal 6.United Kingdom 7.Poland 8.Ukraine 9.United Arab Emirates 10.Germany   11.Austria   12.Belgium   13.Romania   14.Lithuania   15.Italy 16.France   17.Japan   18.Netherlands   19.Australia   20.Ireland   21.Latvia   22.Czech Republic   23.Mexico   24.India 25.Russia   27.Argentina 28.Malta   29.Spain   30.Puerto Rico   31.Bosnia and Herzegovina 32.Lebanon   33.Slovenia 34.Trinidad and Tobaga   35.Philippines 36.Singapore 37.Belarus 38.El Salvador 39.Finland 40.New Zealand 41.Malaysia 42.Colombia 43.Croatia 44.Mauritius 45.Israel 46.Peru 47.Andorra 48.Switzerland 49.Chile 50.Denmark 51.Hong Kong 52.Venezuela   53.Moldova   54.Albania 55.Egypt   56.Sweden 57.South Africa   58.Costa Rica 59.Hungary   60.Norway 61.Greece 62.Kuwait 63.Malawi 64.Rwanda 65.Tunisia 66.Netherlands Antilles   67.Bahamas 68.China   69.Dominican Republic 70.Jersey 71.Kenya 72.Sri Lanka 73.Qatar 74.Saudi Arabia 75.Vietnam 76.Afghanistan 77.Armenia 78.Angola 79.Bulgaria 80.Gibraltar 81.Guatemala 82.Iraq 83.Iceland 84.Saint Lucia 85.Luxembourg 86.Namibia 87.Nicaragua 88.Oman 89.Paraguay 90.Réunion 91.Taiwan 92.Tanzania   93.Uganda 94.Zimbabwe

Truly worldwide!! Our hearts were united with Our Lady's children all over the world! And we all were able to be present for her apparition to Ivan, together! This is a miracle! This is possibly a prefigurment of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, when Our Lady will take up her rightful place as Queen of all hearts! She was able to bless us all together, all over the world!

I have received some lovely comments from those who participated. How happy they all are! We are one family under our Mother, Mary! And she was so happy to be with all of us on Tuesday! Here are some comments:

Dearest Cathy.....Congratulations to all at Mary TV.....Barry and I marvel at what you have accomplished to bring Mary into our homes.....We are so grateful and wish I had the words to express the joy we experienced yesterday....Janet (Seattle)

Just to say many thanks for the BEAUTIFUL moment praying with Ivan. I have a young friend very sick and so the transmission was the right time for Prayer. I love Our Lady and love Medjugorje. Next October I will go for the 24th time. I Pray for your wonderful work, and agaín THANK YOU! Viva a GOSPA !!! Manuel (Portugal)

Thank you and Denis for all the work, prayers and efforts you put into that recording and whatever is necessary to happen in order to share the visit of Our Lady to Ivan.  I spent a good part of my day on the computer to follow this memorable event.  I was very impressed with Colleen and her healing story.  What a witness she is!  Stories like that increases my faith in Mary and Jesus from Whom the Father and the Holy Spirit are better known. With heartfelt thanks, Rita

Dear Cathy and Denis! It was wonderful last night! Thank you! =) God bless you, Vlatka (Bosnia)

I just want to say thank you so very much, Denis, for this marvelous live streaming of Ivan's Vienna apparition and the Holy Mass with Cardinal Schoenborn.  The coverage as so good!  The live-streaming was steady and uninterrupted, the camera angles were terrific, the sound was great, it was just first rate - like watching network TV.  Through your untiring efforts, Denis, and those of your crew we faithful scattered all over the world have the blessing of participating in Our Lady's coming, of receiving her actual blessing (and that of the Cardinal!) and of participating in holy Mass at a great distance from us.  What a treasure that was, and what a treasure you are. Fran (Washington DC)

Dear Mary TV team!   What a blessing to watch and be part of the touch of heaven yesterday. I cried the whole time.. and I never cry.. I sent the site to friends...One of them called me to thank me because she is so sick right now and suffering a lot physically.. she said it was the best day she has had ...she was so happy she had something so beautiful to take her away from herself and her suffering. She just kept thanking me over and over.  God bless this Cardinal who shows the church the way that Mary our Mother brings her children back to church.. Thanks to you to show it to all of us. I can't even imagine how much tedious work is involved in setting this all up, but your rewards will be great in Heaven..  Thank you, thank you, thank you.. Love and prayers, Donna (USA)

Thank you for writing and sharing your experiences on Tuesday! And thank Our Lord and Our Lady for all the graces they are pouring down upon us in these days! I will leave you with the message given through Ivan on Tuesday. Let's pray all weekend for Our Lady's intentions!

"Dear children, I call you also today, that you pray with your full heart and that you love each other. If there is not peace, pray and you will receive peace. You will receive it. Through you and your prayer peace will flow into the world. This is why, my little children, pray, pray, pray, because prayer can do miracles in mankind and in the world. I give thanks for everyone who lives prayer and accepts it. Thank you for responding to my call." (September 25, 2012 through Ivan)

St. Vincent de Paul

Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! When in nature you look at the richness of the colors which the Most High gives to you, open your heart and pray with gratitude for all the good that you have and say: 'I am here created for eternity' - and yearn for heavenly things because God loves you with immeasurable love. This is why He also gave me to you to tell you: 'Only in God is your peace and hope, dear children'. Thank you for having responded to my call." (September 25, 2012)

Our Lady has a tender love for the natural world, the earth as it was created by God. She was immaculately conceived right here on our earth. This was the place where she first saw flowers, rivers, mountains, trees, birds and wheat fields. They were her first introduction to the beauty of God.

She now knows the indescribable beauty of heaven, which Ivan struggles so to relay to us after his encounters with Our Lady. And she understands only too well how poor our earthly beauties really are compared to the beauty of our heavenly home. Nonetheless Our Lady realizes that God has given us the earth with all its beauty as the first taste of His wonderful love. And if we gaze upon nature, as God created it, we will receive our first inklings of the grandeur of heaven and the greatness of God.

She has mentioned nature in several messages over the years.  Here are some of those references:

"Go into nature and look how nature is awakening and it will be a help to you to open your hearts to the love of God, the Creator." (April 25, 1993)

"Dear children! Also today I call you to give glory to God the Creator in the colors of nature. He speaks to you also through the smallest flower about His beauty and the depth of love with which He has created you..."(August 25, 1999)

"Find peace in nature and you will discover God the Creator Whom you will be able to give thanks to for all creatures; then you will find joy in your heart..." ( July 25, 2001)

"Dear children! Also today I call you to give thanks to God in your heart for all the graces which He gives you, also through the signs and colors that are in nature. God wants to draw you closer to Himself and moves you to give Him glory and thanks..." (August 25, 2003)

Our Lady wants us to encounter nature, in all its changing colors and forms with the same wonder and trust that she first encountered it with. In this state of receptivity and love, we can encounter God through nature. Nature can teach us about God, how He thinks, how He works, how He plays, how He makes, how He loves, and how He gives. But once we have discovered the beauty of nature, and detected the hand of God in it, we will not want to stop there. We will understand that this beauty is a sign post, an invitation to go further, to find our eternal home, our eternal "nature" with God in heaven. The beauty we drink in here is only an incentive to follow after God until He is ours forever.

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Whoa! The German Catholic Church issues ultimatum: No money, no Sacraments

Media_httpvaticaninsi_wmcwu

This does not seem right to me but as an American, I'm used to going to and belonging to a church for free. Yes, I know we are supposed to tithe or give alms but what if you are poor and just have enough money to feed and shelter yourself and your family? As far as being taxed by the Government because of your religion, thank God we live in the USA!!! Here's an excerpt of the story:

Media_httpwwwtoonpool_jeefc

The German Episcopal Conference’s decision has sparked a debate within the country’s Catholic world, leading to widespread controversy

ALESSANDRO SPECIALE
ROME
It may seem over the top but this is the whole point of the decree issued last week by the German Bishops’ Conference, with the approval of the Holy See.

The decree requires that faithful who declare to a registry office that they are no longer members of the Catholic Church, will no longer be able to actively participate in Church life and there receive the sacraments.

Essentially, Germans who ask to no longer be registered as Catholics – and therefore no longer pay the country’s church tax (8-9% of their annual income tax bill) – will no longer be able to receive the sacraments of confession, communion or confirmation and when they die, they will not be allowed a Catholic funeral. They will also not be able to work as volunteers in Catholic associations, sing in Catholic choirs or even work in Catholic institutions such as schools or hospitals.

Iconostasis of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Dormition of Most Holy Theotokos, Russian Embassy, Beijing, China

Sunday morning in China’s capital city is not unlike most other days: Beijing’s more than 20 million inhabitants bustle through congested sidewalks, cars compete almost hopelessly for space on crowded roads, and hazy grey skies loom heavily over the city landscape, punctuated by soaring cranes marking new constructions.

Media_httpwwwcatholic_dhgqf

Beijing is not exactly a city of church bells and rising spires, but nestled quietly among the trees within the protective walls of the Russian Embassy lies the Russian Orthodox Church of the Dormition of Most Holy Theotokos. Its humble but majestic onion dome and Greek cross rise above the embassy walls, a sight few could have imagined only 50 years ago, when the Orthodox church was converted by the Soviet authorities into a garage. Three years ago the “garage” was restored into what it was originally made for, a temple of God where the Divine Liturgy is offered in all the rich beauty of the Russian Orthodox tradition.

THE LITURGY, A SCHOOL OF PRAYER

romereports has uploaded Pope talks about the purpose of the Second Vatican Council in transmitting the Liturgy.

Pope talks about the purpose of the Second Vatican Council in transmitting the Liturgy
http://www.romereports.com/ With roughly10,000 people in attendance, Benedict XVI led Wednesday's general audience in St. Peter's Square. As the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council approaches, the Pope talked about the role of the Council in transmitting the message of the Liturgy to all corners of the world.

THE LITURGY, A SCHOOL OF PRAYER

Vatican City, 26 September 2012 (VIS) - The liturgy as a school of prayer, as a "special place in which God addresses each one of us ... and awaits our response", was the theme of Benedict XVI's catechesis during his general audience, held this morning in St. Peter's Square.

The Pope explained how, in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, "we read that the word 'liturgy' originally meant a 'service in the name of/on behalf of the people'. If Christian theology took this word from the Greek, clearly it did so thinking of the new People of God, born of Christ Who opened His arms on the Cross to unite mankind in the one peace of God; 'service in the name of the people', a people which exists not of itself but which has come into being thanks to the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ".

"The Catechism also states that in Christian tradition, the word 'liturgy' means the participation of the People of God in the work of God". In this context Pope Benedict recalled how the document on the liturgy had been the first fruit of Vatican Council II. "By beginning with the issue of liturgy, light was very clearly thrown on the primacy of God, on His absolute precedence. ... Where the gaze on God is not decisive, everything becomes disoriented. The fundamental criterion for the liturgy is that it should be oriented towards God, in order to ensure we participate in His work.

"Yet, we might ask ourselves", the Holy Father added, "what is this work of God in which we are called to participate? ... And what makes the Mystery of the death and resurrection of Christ, Who brought salvation, real for me today? The answer is this: the action of Christ through the Church and the liturgy; in particular the Sacrament of the Eucharist which causes the sacrificial offer of the Son of God Who redeemed us to be present; the Sacrament of Penance in which we pass from the death induced by sin to new life; and the other Sacraments which sanctify us".

Quoting again from the Catechism of the Catholic Church the Pope affirmed that "a sacramental celebration is a meeting of God's children with their Father, in Christ and the Holy Spirit; this meeting takes the form of a dialogue, through actions and words'. Thus", he explained, "the first requirement for a good liturgical celebration is that it be prayer and dialogue with God, first listening then responding. ... Sacred liturgy offers us the words, it is up to us to enter into their meaning, absorb them, harmonise ourselves with them. ... One fundamental and primordial element of dialogue with God in the liturgy is concordance between what we say with our mouths and what we carry in our hearts", he said.

The Pope then referred to a particular moment in which the liturgy calls upon us and helps us to find such concordance: the celebrant's invitation before the Eucharistic prayer: "sursum corda", meaning "let us lift up our hearts"; lift them up, that is, "out of the mire of our concerns and desires, our worries and our distraction. Our hearts, the most intimate part of us, must open meekly to the Word of God and join the prayer of the Church, in order to be oriented towards God by the very words we hear and pronounce".

"We celebrate and experience the liturgy well", the Pope concluded, "only if we maintain an attitude of prayer, uniting ourselves to the mystery of Christ and to His dialogue of a Son with His Father. God Himself teaches us to pray. ... He has given us the right words with which to address Him, words we find in the Psalter, in the great prayers of sacred liturgy and in the Eucharistic celebration itself. Let us pray to the Lord that we may become increasingly aware of the fact that the liturgy is the action of God and of man; a prayer that arises from the Holy Spirit and from us; entirely addressed to the Father in union with the Son of God made man".

Following the catechesis the Holy Father addressed greetings to, among others, faithful from Latin America, including a group of Chilean parliamentarians whom he reminded of Catholic politicians' duty "generously to seek the common good of all citizens, in a manner coherent with the convictions held by the children of the Church".

Dear Family of Mary!

The Evening of Prayer at St. Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna, was successfully streamed to the world yesterday (September 25) by Mary TV .  It was a miracle and blessing from God.  Our team did a fantastic job, and everyone was able to take part!  We are so grateful to everyone who worked so hard to provide the live stream!!

Ivan shared about his encounter with Our Lady before Adoration last evening.  I have transcribed his remarks including the message Our Lady gave to us during the event according to the translator for Mary TV's English translation:

Ivan's words in Vienna on September 25, 2012 about his encounter with Our Lady:

After the encounter I want to explain something to you. I want to explain what was most important in the encounter with Our Lady. It is difficult in this world today to find the right words, because it is difficult to describe the encounter with Our Mother. In this world today where we do not have words to express what she is like and what she says, every word is poor. As I said shortly before in my testimony the encounter with the Gospa is in reality an encounter with paradise. When she comes she brings us paradise. It is difficult to put the beauty and emotion of Our Lady into words. This is why I am going to try to talk with the words I have. I will try to describe what I have seen today.

Gospa came today very happy and full of joy. She has greeted us with her motherly greeting, "My dear children, be blessed with the greetings of Christ."Afterwards she prayed over you priests present for a long time. In a special way I recommended you, you priests present now, to Our Lady. Also in a special way, I presented Your Eminence, and the diocese we are in. Afterwards the Gospa prayed in a special way for this diocese and for the needs of this diocese. After that she gave this message:

"Dear children, I call you also today, that you pray with your full heart and that you love each other. If there is not peace, pray and you will receive peace. You will receive it. Through you and your prayer peace will flow into the world. This is why, my little children, pray, pray, pray, because prayer can do miracles in mankind and in the world. I give thanks for everyone who lives prayer and accepts it. Thank you for responding to my call."

After that she blessed us with her motherly blessing and she blessed all the articles you brought. I entrusted all of you, your families and needs. Especially you sick, I have entrusted. After that she prayed over us here, especially the sick. After that she left in prayer and in the sign of the cross and the light and she said "Go in peace, my dear children." These are the most important things I have taken from the encounter with the Gospa.

I want to say again, in truth, I want to tell you, it is very, very difficult to express in words what I have received. You see I am standing here in front of you, and it is difficult for me to come back. I am still in her presence. Every day when I see her, her beauty, her love, I am completely taken by it. Once we asked her, "Mother, why are you so beautiful? And she said, "Dear children, I am beautiful because I love. You also should love and you would become beautiful." Dear friends, our Mother loves us. This is why we accept the messages, out of love. Let us start to pray in our families. Let us be the sower who sows the new seeds in our families. Let us decide for holiness within the family. Our Mother will help us on this way. Your eminence, Your Excellency, dear priests, I want to thank you in truth for this beautiful day of prayer together. And I hope that we will all become carriers of peace in this world today. In the peace of Christ, may it be that way. Thank you....

Imagine seeing paradise!!  Imagine being so drawn to Our Lady that it takes hours to refocus!  Our Lady's coming is such a miracle of love!!  Thanks again, to Ivan for witnessing so well for Our Lady, and to all those involved in putting on the beautiful evening of prayer!!  It was a beautiful encounter with heaven!

God bless you all,

Cathy Nolan

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ:

Today on the Feast of St. Padre Pio, I heard from my spiritual director giving me the green light to present the "project" I mentioned several months ago. It is called:

CONFRATERNITY OF SPIRITUAL MOTHERS FOR PRIESTS!

Continue to read below for more details!
God Bless all of you!

Love in the Two Hearts,
Sadie

Several Years ago, I read a letter
from the CONGREGATION OF THE FAITH
that was written by a Cardinal Huume, appealing to bishops to organize Eucharistic Adoration for priests; for an increase in vocations; and for their sanctification, so that they might remain fervent, faithful, and holy.

Along with that letter were several stories of different women who had, for the Glory of God and Exaltation of Holy Mother Church, contributed to the church by offering their daily lives to God for the priesthood and for priests.

I am sure that this is not the first time an appeal for prayers for priests has been made, or that others before me have not been inspired to do the same thing.  In the course of my ministry I have come across many apostolates; missions; organizations etc. that include praying for priests in their mission statement.

So as the readers of my newsletters, I am appealing to all; married, single, religious, consecrated laity, widowed, divorced, whatever state of life you are, won't you offer one hour a month before the Blessed Sacrament for priests?

Commit to pray at least one hour before the Blessed Sacrament once a month for this intention.  Of course the promise is not binding as for religious orders, but if one commits then I would pray that every effort would be made to fulfill it.  The commitment is for one hour a month before the Blessed Sacrament, however praying daily in your own little prayer corners would be rising to heroic degree!

I am praying that you will understand, by reading the stories of these women how the ordinary things done in your daily lives CAN make a difference.  You can read the stories of these women  on the website that has been created for this confraternity by clicking on the link below.

The key is to apply St. Therese the Little Flower's "little way" and offer everything with LOVE,  to God and Our Lady, because united under the banner of the Confraternity, the Father in heaven will bless us with more priests; holy priests, vocations and renewed religious orders.

This does not exclude the Godly men out there...they too can participate as we, male and female,  make up the Body of Christ, and since Jesus is the bridegroom, we are the bride of Christ...thus including all, regardless of gender.

Please submit your request to enroll in the confraternity at the new email address below:

You can go to the website by clicking on the link below,  to read the stories of the saintly women, and the letter from the Congregation of the Faith:

http://spiritualmothers4priests.WebStarts.com

Once enrolled, you will be remembered in prayer and your names will be added to the book of members that I will begin to keep.

I am including here and on the website the prayers that I pray we will all use, so there will be the unity for this lofty mission.

With great love and joy, I pray we will, in our little way, make a difference to the priesthood and for the priests, GLORY TO GOD!  I humbly ask you all to please pray for this intention too.

Love and God Bless you!
Sadie

PS: The pamphlets with the prayers to use are in the process of being printed and they are not quite ready, but as soon as I have them I will send them out if you provide your mailing address.

Prayers for Priests +

O Jesus, I pray for Your faithful and fervent
priests; for Your unfaithful and tepid
priests; for Your priests labouring at home
or abroad in distant mission fields; for Your
tempted priests; for Your lonely and
desolate priest; for Your young priests; for
Your dying priests; for the souls of Your
priests in purgatory. But above all I
recommend to You the priests dearest to
me; the priest who baptized me; the priests
who absolved me from my sins; the priests
at whose Masses I assisted and who gave
me Your Body and Blood in Holy
communion; the priests who taught and
instructed me; all the priests to whom I am
indebted in any other way. O Jesus, keep
them all close to Your heart, and bless them
abundantly in time and in eternity.
Amen.
O Jesus, Eternal Priest, keep your priests within
the shelter of your Sacred Heart, where none
may touch them.
Keep unstained their anointed hands, which
daily touch your Sacred Body.
Keep unsullied their lips, daily purpled with
your Precious Blood.
Keep pure and unworldly their hearts, sealed
with the sublime mark of the priesthood.
Let your holy love surround them from the
world's contagion.
Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may
the souls to whom they minister be their joy and
consolation here and their everlasting crown
hereafter.
Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us: obtain
for us numerous and holy priests.
.

Thy own most Precious Blood adorns Thee, Jesus.
This "garment" I desire - Oh, make it mine!
Immerse me in Thy overflowing Chalice
That I find raiment, too, in Love's Pure Wine.
Thou art Thyself the one Eternal High
Priest, And yet thy boundless Goodness doth
impart To many souls a Sacerdotal calling,
To offer LOVE to LOVE with LOVE'S own Heart!
For such as these accept my life's oblation-
I daily pray their number be increased, And beg for each already consecrated, The grace to live and die a Holy Priest. If Thy anointed ones have this misfortune, That from their sacred calling they depart, Accept my life's atonement, humbly
offered
And lead them back, Good Shepherd to

Thy Heart.

Dear Family of Mary!

Here is the message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace, for September 25, 2012.  What a beautiful message this is!

September 25, 2012 message:

"Dear children! When in nature you look at the richness of the colors which the Most High gives to you, open your heart and pray with gratitude for all the good that you have and say: 'I am here created for eternity' - and yearn for heavenly things because God loves you with immeasurable love. This is why He also gave me to you to tell you: 'Only in God is your peace and hope, dear children'. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Judge Arthur Brennan Sentenced Father Gordon MacRae to Die in Prison

Media_http3bpblogspot_fekuk

Former New Hampshire Judge Arthur Brennan was arrested at a Washington, DC protest in October 2011. In 1994, he sentenced Fr. Gordon MacRae to die in prison.

On September 24 Father Gordon MacRae awoke in prison to begin his 19th year of incarceration for crimes that were never committed. The great tragedy of this egregious injustice is that he could have left prison 16 years ago had he actually been guilty and willing to say so. I have marked this occasion with something I hope everyone concerned for justice will read and pass along: "Judge Arthur Brennan Sentenced Father Gordon MacRae to Die in Prison"
