Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje’s May 2, 2008 Message to Mirjana Soldo for the Day of Non-Believers
At 7:45 a.m., silence was requested to begin the Rosary with the thousands of pilgrims who were present for the apparition. Mirjana arrived at 8:55 a.m. She was noticeably moved, wiping he eyes a number of times. The apparition started at 9:07 a.m. and lasted 5 minutes. Mirjana spoke with Our Lady, with her hands folded all the time. Mirjana said that she could not say if Our Lady was sad or happy. The following is the message Our Lady gave to Mirjana:
This Place—Medjugorje—is God’s Will

“This place”--the spiritual rebirth, the spiritual center of the entire world, for the desire of God for the conversion of the “entire world” – now in your time. Have you gotten it? Do you understand what is happening? Do you realize the grace that came to the earth today? No, you don’t. You are too wrapped up in yourself, your way. You cling to God your way. You want Medjugorje to fit into your way of life. God has another way of life for you, but do you want it? No! You want it until it is uncomfortable, then you humanize the way. You bend this a little, shape this a little, and excuse ‘this and that’ a little until you live the way of God, the way of Our Lady a little. That is not God’s will for you. “This place” called Medjugorje is God’s will for you, God’s gift to you, to make your very being, your body, your every moment Medjugorje, until your “place” is Medjugorje, thereby changing your family, home, work. Your life will be Medjugorje.
Only a mother can heal a world in such a state as today’s world, a mother who would base, in an actual physical place in the world, Her home kitchen, to recipe the medicine the world needs to change and establish many “places” around the world. This mother comes to teach you to have your own little kitchen to feed the mother’s food she gives, through her motherly parental care, needed in every family of the world now at this special time. A kitchen where the aroma of what’s cooking says to your very being, love is here in this place, where you feel the warmth of “I feel welcomed” in this “simple place” where life is not so complicated, there is no pretense, no need to be constantly on guard. A kitchen where you can come and talk to the mother at perfect ease and feel Her perfect mercy from the Father in a “richness” which cannot be emptied, but always will replenish you when you “accept” it.
What in your life must change to have “this place” of Medjugorje in your kitchen? What must you throw out materially that are not good utensils to make the food of love the mother wants to establish in your place? Purify your place, your heart. Open it to Our Lady. She will lead you to Her Son. You are welcomed to Her place. Her kitchen produces food to feed the whole world, to nourish it to the very end, and through it she is holding us all by the hand. It is often “difficult” but it is softened with the sweetness of the mother’s hand, her caress, her saying, “Do not be afraid.” It is often “painful” but is soothed with the mother’s hands and Her constant confidence. She repeats “do not be afraid” to open your very being to Her, even though the food you receive may not always be to the liking of the body, but always to the delight and nourishment of your soul. Reread the message:
God’s will is this place of Medjugorje. Our Lady’s will is for Medjugorje to be transferred to your place. It is up to you to accept Her teaching to show you how. We invite you to come to Caritas, July 1-5, 2008, to what some have termed “mejabama” to show you “a kitchen” that Our Lady has established here – that it is possible to do so. Though the way is often difficult and painful, it will lead to joy“s” in this life and to eternal joy. She wants to establish this everywhere to bake, feed, and nourish the world with the sweets that can only come from such a kitchen where the richness of “motherness” is given.
