Mary Vitamin for May 21st
Topic: Preparing for Corpus Christi with Our Lady

Quote:
St. Peter Julian Eymard
"Mary, though, never lost the Eucharistic presence of Jesus."
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 156

Meditation:
St. Peter Julian Eymard
"Jesus has very few adorers who consider themselves sufficiently recompensed and happy in remaining with Him, occupied in serving Him as do the Angels in heaven, as Mary did in the Cenacle. He sees at His feet only beggars, or the restless, who seek help."
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 156

Resolution:
Why am I restless with my trials and crosses?
Today, to begin to live Our Lady's life of Eucharistic centeredness, I will begin now by placing myself in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Then, later in the day when I feel restless with my cross or trials I will turn my mind and heart to the Tabernacle and imitate Our Lady:
"Mary lived, then, in the Divine Eucharist, the center of her love. All her thoughts, words, actions came forth from It as sunbeams issue from the Sun."
St. Peter Julian Eymard, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 156

Marian Vow:
"Let the Eucharistic life be at the center of the heart of each Franciscan Tertiary of the Immaculate. It is necessary to love the Eucharist with the heart of the Immaculate. …Nourished with the Eucharistic Jesus, united to the Immaculate Mediatrix, let the tertiaries each day live faithfully the daily obligations of their state."
Marian Seraphic Pathways, Constitutions #26, #25

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Thanks be to God for graces received.

Enjoy a variety of prayer aids intended to enrich your time with our Lord in adoration. With the exception of a few brief periods each day, Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament is presented live via webcam from the Chapel of Divine Love in Philadelphia, PA - a source of perpetual Eucharistic adoration by the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters since 1916.
