I'm a bad boy, or so say my family, cause I'm avoiding going to the doctor! Why? Because he will only tell me what I already know and send me for more tests, which I can't afford to pay for. Why does the family want me to go to the doctor or even to a hospital? Well, last week, after waking up in the morning, I had some sharp pains in my left thigh which lasted about 15 minutes. Believe me, I never felt any pain like that before! I was like paralyzed and couldn't stand up and anything. After offering it up to the Lord in union with His sufferings on the Cross, I asked Jesus to take it away if it was His Will; and slowly the pain disappeared and I was able to stand up and walk around. I hobbled around for a while until everything seemed to get back to normal. The only after effect was that I noticed my hands started to fall asleep if I used them a lot and my feet ached. Otherwise I'm back working at my part-time job. BTW, I'll tell the doctor about this incident on my next general check-up, which is in about a month.
