Mary Vitamin for July 7th
Topic: Fiery Chains
Quote:
St. Peter Julian Eymard
"O happy bonds that keep Jesus in our midst," said Mary, "be ye blessed! Ye be fiery chains that unite me to this tabernacle."
Meditation:
"Mary adored Jesus in the state of Prisoner which Jesus assumed by uniting Himself inseparably to the Sacred Species. She contemplated His glorified Body, His feet, His hands condemned to material immobility; His tongue speechless, His Soul without exterior expansion, His love without power, without wings-fettered, unable to show man aught but His chains of love."
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, (Eymard Library) Day 23
Resolution:
Today, while I am away from the Tabernacle, I will try to imitate Our Lady's Eucharistic thoughts. I will think of His Hands 'condemned to material immobility' unable to show aught but His chains of love."
Marian Vow:
From Father Manelli's Jesus Our Eucharistic Love
(Academy of the Immaculate)
"Wherever I may be I will often think of Jesus in the
Blessed Sacrament. I will fix my thoughts on the holy
Tabernacle - adoring Him from where I am, calling to
Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, offering up to Him the
action I am performing. I will install one telegraph
cable from my study to the Church, another from my
bedroom, and a third from our refectory; and as often
as I can, I will send messages of love to Jesus in the
Blessed Sacrament." Servant of God, Andrew Baltrami

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Thanks be to God for graces received.
