Mary's Eve – Medjugorje 2010
Mary's Eve, August 4, 2010 in Medjugorje was a beautiful night. Several hundred pilgrims gathered at Marija's Chapel of the Two Hearts to welcome Our Lady. Among them the Caritas Pilgrimage group was blessed present.

To be in the presence of Our Lady, while in Medjugorje is a special gift, in which many bring with them in their petitions their loved ones, those who have asked them for prayers, and every difficulty and trial that they face.
Mother and Child – Medjugorje, August 4, 2010
Marija once told the founder of Caritas about the time she received a kiss from Our Lady on her birthday. The founder asked Marija what the kiss felt like. Marija replied that there were no words to describe it. He continued to ask her, if there could be any words at all that may describe receiving a kiss from Our Lady, what would it be? Marija replied that it was something that went through her entire soul, to the depths of her soul. The founder asked again, that if there were any words that could describe it, what words could she describe it as. Marija replied, "I felt Mother!"
This good mother above, just moments before Our Lady appears, is succoring her child, as only a good mother can do. It makes us stop to reflect on Our Lady and Her love for each of us.Copyright SJP Lic. Caritas of Birmingham. Used with permission.
