Quote:
Father Faber
Joy is the especial recompense of intercession. It is part of His joy, who rejoices in the harvest of His Passion.
All For Jesus as quoted in
C.J. Woollen, The Twelve Fruits, (Roman Catholic Books), 20.

Meditation:
In the Three Days Loss, Our Lady won many graces for sinners. By it she suffered much for those who lose Jesus through sin. The source of her joy is her union with God's Will at all times despite the outward manifestation of His Will.

Our joy will be in the recognition that the work of the Holy Spirit is succeeding. Bound up with this is the realization that we are being used by Him to further His works. Woollen (23)

Resolution:
Our Lady's Joy stems from her intercessory prayer and sacrifice and from the fulfillment of her desire to see God.

In order to imitate Our Lady today, I will renew the morning offering of my day to God. When I see her image, I will pause to place my day in her hands. I will remember that prayer and sacrifice make a difference in the world and that the simple work of my day, done well and offered to God can be used by God as intercessory prayer. True joy can be derived by living for others and not for oneself.

Marian Vow:
St. Maximilian Kolbe
We must sanctify ourselves at every moment, for we know not if the next will be ours. It is for us to become holy here and now, for we cannot be certain whether we will be here this evening. The better we fulfill our obligations the more we give glory to God and respond to the will of the Immaculata. So important is the present moment that we must continually remind ourselves of it as the means of sanctification.
Will to Love, (Marytown Press: 1998), 66.

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks be to God for graces received.
