Dear Friends of Familyland, I can't believe that Greg and I have been here in Nigeria for six months already! Time does fly fast when you're having fun. As we serve to establish the work of the Family Apostolate here in the Archdiocese of Onitsha, we continue to be amazed and inspired every day by what we see. The people may be poor but they are very rich in faith. |

The Consecration Rush! Recently, we were invited to witness the combined Family Consecration ceremony of 3 parishes in Nando. Before Mass began, Lawrence, one of our Lay Evangelization Team members, gave a stirring talk in the native language about the power and protection of consecrating one's family to the Holy Family. Almost all at once, the crowd swarmed out of the Church to buy an image of the Holy Family of Fatima. Talk about enthusiasm for our Faith! Because of You... I have no doubt that the Nigerian faithful will obtain abundant graces for the conversion of the world through their fervent faith. Thanks to your prayers and generosity, we are actively providing the most effective spiritual weapon to protect Nigerian families. That weapon is Family Consecration! Truly, without this commitment to a life of holiness, families would not stand a chance. You are changing lives! | |

Please no anonymous comments. I require at least some way for people to address each other personally and courteously. Having some name or handle helps.
