Reflecting on Today’s Medjugorje Message:

Reflecting on Today’s Medjugorje Message:

October 2, 2010

Our Lady’s October 2, 2010 message through Mirjana:

Dear children; Today I call you to a humble, my children, humble devotion. Your hearts need to be just. May your crosses be your means in the battle against the sins of the present time. May your weapon be patience and boundless love – a love that knows to wait and which will make you capable of recognizing God’s signs – that your life, by humble love, may show the truth to all those who seek it in the darkness of lies. My children, my apostles, help me to open the paths to my Son. Once again I call you to pray for your shepherds. Alongside them, I will triumph. Thank you.

There were many thoughts running through my weak mind as I read this powerful Message from Our Lady. Each 2nd of the month, Mary, our Queen and Mother gives a Message for unbelievers through Mirjana (pictured above). What does this Message say to us? Let us ask to Holy Spirit to enlighten us first:

Come Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Thy well-beloved Spouse!

Three times Our Lady calls us “My Children”, reminding us that she is surely Our Mother, taking care and watching over our needs, temporal and spiritual. Even if you have no faith or deny God and all His grace and mercy, Mary still is our Mother. Even an orphan cannot deny he or she was born through a woman and have a mother somewhere, living or dead. Jesus gave us Mary, His Mother to be our Mother at the foot of the Cross: “Son, behold thy Mother.”

Next Our Lady calls us to be humble and just. If we acknowledge our sins and make amends, do penance, we glorify our Creator by our humility and reparation. She reminds us that our crosses, which all of us have in one way or another, have meaning and are redemptive. In our patience and love, we carry our cross to the end as an example to the world and to assist and draw others to the truth and faith. Some crosses are not easy to carry, many reject their cross and run away to divorce, drugs, drunkenness, adultery, porn, perversion, stealing, killing, especially abortion, euthanasia and rejection of the elderly and infirm, etc., etc. By our example of rejecting these evils and obeying the Commandments of God, living the Beatitudes of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we “show the truth to all those who seek it in the darkness of lies.”

Finally, Our Lady calls us her “apostles,” as we spread and live her Messages throughout the world! And we do this in obedience to and with our Bishops and priests, whom we need to be united with and to pray for each day! It is through the Church that Mary’s Immaculate Heart will triumph! The Church is the Body of Christ; the Soul of the Church is the Holy Spirit; The Church is in the Kingdom of the Father and will reign forever in Truth!

May Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for us!

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
