St. Peter and His Successors Have Authority and Control My Dear People,
“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” This is St. Peter as he is confessing his belief in Our Lord. When St. Peter speaks for himself, he speaks for the whole Church. We are included. Jesus then confers His authority to Peter when He declares him the “rock”. From this beginning foundation Christ hands on the “keys” to the Kingdom to the “rock”. Those who have keys, have authority and control. Until the return of Jesus Christ, St. Peter and his successors have the responsibility of protecting and defending the Church. Now Pope Benedict carries the torch until his death. Then his successor continues on until the Second Coming of Christ. So, we the Church, long for the completion of God’s mission and plan. We hope to complete our part in the mission. We long to see Our Lord face to face. Come Lord Jesus, COME! Entrusting you to the care of Our Lady, Fr. Mark Bozada May we always long for the return of Jesus Christ, Our Lord & Savior. |
Mother Mary said at Fatima: "My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the sure way which will lead you to God." St. Thomas Aquinas said: "The things we love tell us who we are!" With that in mind, I will try to post each day something about Our Blessed Lady, items about the Holy Roman Catholic Church, and public domain Catholic books too! I pray you enjoy my ministry! Below are two albums of pictures that I created: 1. Our grand daughter Adrianna. 2. Tears of Mary!
